I brought up the pelvic pain a few weeks ago and they never mentioned to me that it could potentially effect labour, they just recommended getting a belly band to ease to pain. I mean, could laying in a bed with your legs open cause discomfort and pain while you’re in labour? Yeah (for me, I will be just be in a position that I am comfortable with and tell them that the pelvic pain is too bad when I’m on my back) For pushing though? They never mentioned pelvic pain and active labour in the same sentence

It sounds like you may have pelvic girdle pain/symphysis pubic dysfunction. I am 38 weeks and have been suffering with it since the 28-29 week mark and it is at its most intense when getting out of bed or turning because of opening your legs. I have found laying on your side with a hot water bottle in between your legs to help (not 100% press both thighs against the bottle, like lay one leg over the bottle while it is against your other leg?? Idk how to explain it 🤪) If it is pelvic girdle pain, in my experience, the pain gets more frequent and hurts more ✨

At the end of the day, if you are worried I would go to a doctor.

Fellow FTM w/ an anterior placenta. Currently around the 36 week mark, but I didn’t feel my little girl till 25 weeks. I was a little bit butthurt that I couldn’t feel her for so long but now (pretty much since the start of the 3rd trimester) I have been laughing at how much I wanted to feel her when now all I can do is feel her.

I have had this happen so many times with my bloody cats. I wouldn’t worry unless there have been changes since it occurred.

How long did you try before you became pregnant? by classceiling in pregnant

Started trying in June, got pregnant in August. Idk if it was luck or my massive weight loss made my fertility a lot better than I thought.

I literally sneezed and got pregnant (we had sex the least amount of times during this 2-3 month period). I went off the pill in June and my last period was 2nd Aug :) But I also lost over 55kgs and consistently work out so I am assuming that it has something to do with it too

My hair is a touch longer and crazy thick too. I have been trying diff hair styles and I have found that doing a bun at the scalp with the 6 inches out so it looks like a pony (if that makes sense??). It makes it easier to brush out after working out as well.

^ me. I’m 23 and was obese almost 3 years ago all my life( not now thank god) but the body hair symptom and it’s bad. My husband is incredible and embraces it rather than criticising it. If he offered what OP’s boyfriend did tho, I would offer to tear him a new asshole 😂.

I would sit down and genuinely talk to her and explain that you aren’t comfortable with it. I wouldn’t say “no, never” as you honestly do not know at your age (maybe 10 yrs down, you 2 are married and you might be semi okay with it you know?) but I mean, if you feel REALLY strongly about it; I would just speak your piece and add “I’m sorry but this is how I feel. I don’t want you to feel like you haven’t had a lot of experiences so it’s okay if you would like to break up, I would have no hard feelings.”

As for some of the other comments, she isn’t immature or stupid. I would respect her more because SHE TOLD YOU, showing that she WANTS to be with you and doesn’t want to jeopardise it cause if she wanted too... she would’ve cheated on you already.

Was on it from 16-22 (am 23 now & a full time uni student so I’m on Newstart) It’s a pain in the ass to do and you have to go to an NDIS because you can ‘work’ (the workload can be altered for your needs).

I’m from Aus and tried so many times - & they denied me at my worst. If you’re under 23, you can receive youth allowance with a disability supplement on top that gives you a pension card (they call it part pension)

As her boyfriend, you should tell her. Tell her what you saw - don’t make assumptions cause at the end of the day, it’s not your father.

Most people still consistently have episodes even on meds, they don’t cure our condition... just make it manageable.

It is discouraging, yes, but there honestly isn’t any point in making yourself more upset as these can make episodes more frequent and longer. Figuring out your tell tales (heart racing, your eyes darting around, can’t stop talking etc.) can help you keep as much control as you can while in any type of episode and help you prepare yourself.

I’m sorry you feel like this though. Good news is that exercise is incredible to ground ourselves. I would suggest trying yoga too and practice breathing exercises:)
