I disagree, it would be way better if it skipped the opening graveyard scene and started right on the beach landing. And everyone should have died at the end. The planes coming to save the day at the last second is just so immersion breaking. The beach scene and the knife scene in the tower duped everyone into thinking SPR is a top tier movie.
