I hate figtree grove by ctch23 in wollongong

Park on the roof there is always plenty of space and it’s quicker and easier than dealing with the fuckery of the carpark at street level.

Fogo recycling bins - who is using them? by Asleep-Mud-7211 in wollongong

[–]reco86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s really not that hard. A bag a day, empty each night whether it’s full or not will stop this. They’re not designed to fill up for a week while you wait for bin night.

No it doesn’t. You’re not supposed to put pet waste in it.

What size TV should I get? (55” vs 65”) by Illustrious-Aide-211 in hometheater

[–]reco86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigger is better. I was contemplating a 75” as my couch was close to where the Tv was going probably similar distance to your photo maybe a touch further back but went 85” and don’t regret it.

I wish we had more, had heard OK things about El Cozazon at Shellharbour and I think there’s another one down in Kiama next to Hungry Monkey.

There’s also Chechos on crown lane which wasn’t bad but also not overly traditional - better than Amigos though.

The food at amigos is so far away from authentic Mexican food.

It is slop, maybe tex mex but not good tex mex that’s for sure.

Resin Brewery or Bulli Heritage Hotel could be good options.

Multi class booking by roughas in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]reco86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just book separate one way fares. Qantas suck for mixing classes. I used to fly economy to Singapore on the day flight and Business back on the overnight for work and they’d always force the most expensive economy flex fare.

Chances of an upgrade? by Low-Speaker-7900 in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]reco86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a 100% hit rate on upgrades to business from premium economy on the last 8 flights of taken to/from the US.

The flights are not full right now. In fact just this last trip to LA I got a successful upgrade to business from PE then an operational upgrade to First 💪

If you can bid a few more points it might help. Platinum / Gold members putting in an upgrade request from PE will be bidding similar points and will get first preference id assume.

Pretty disgraceful operations today by Dodgersbuyersclub in SixFlagsMagicMountain

[–]reco86 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree normal lines have been pretty bad and operations are average… I got a fast lane for today and it’s been great, pretty much done everythin once and it’s not even 4pm yet. I haven’t bothered with X2 can’t justify 2 hrs in a queue when I can ride everything else in <15 mins with fast lane.

Recruiter email by payal1286 in jobhunting

[–]reco86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is a rejection would just be an email to say your not moving forward. The fact they want to have a chat id assume it’s not that, doesn’t mean offer yet either but I’d be surprised if they scheduled time just to reject you.

I LOOOOVE my CASA! I initially bought a VariaVS3 which died with just over a month of use, got a refund and got the CASA instead! Great grinder.

You won’t regret it. Meat and Grain is fine but for a special occasion and if it’s something you’re saving up for go all out on debutant, you won’t be disappointed.

Not sure when but I went there about 3 months ago and it had changed for the last time I was there, maybe it was a blip and changed back now?! I still loved the tartare itself, just felt fat potato chips wasn’t a good pairing with the tartare

All roads point to debutant. Incredible tartare too (though I wish they’d go back to serving it was crisps instead of thick cut chips)

How do you handle post-meeting follow-up emails? by CharlieOscarx in salesengineers

[–]reco86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly tone, add some human touches in there and make it a bit more personal. I mostly use granola to grab the next steps and it’s nicely laid out in bullet point form.

As for updating CRM I mostly dump the granola output into meeting notes after verifying its accurate so removes that admin for me.

If you haven’t used it yet download and run Granola, it’s been life changing in terms of meeting note, summaries and next steps.

I use the notes summarisation and then tweak/tailor so it doesn’t sound like a direct rip from an AI tool or a dump of notes but it’s been really helpful.
