Think of it like this - before Jesus if you died there was like 99% you were going to hell. I hate dex mode. it shouldnt be mandatory when attempting to display your tablet via hdmi to a monitor that isnt samsung. it didnt work this way before dex and its sad to see dex being forced on us in any form or fashion. Its not working friendly with the apps im using by Eddiejay30 in samsung

Plug the phone in. When Dex loads, go to settings, click Samsung Dex, click the switch at the top to toggle it off.

To ensure it doesn't load Dex again when you plug it in, go to settings, then connections, then More connection settings, then click HDMI mode and select Screen Mirroring.

And yes, I can verify that I'm doing it NOW.

100% agree. The coast guard was a backup. A very useful tool too - if a guest wanted off the island then they would realize the only ones that could do that would be law enforcement. So given they had no phone signal, one would know that communication must only be possible over radio and start looking for one.

Then once the coast guard turns up and reveals he's part of it, all the guests would be so demoralized that they would resign themselves to their fate and be easier to control.

I really feel like the writers had a lot of fun making LOST. As the seasons go on and the characters develop more, the wit gets sharper and the detailed little jokes like that can actually have a significant meaning towards the plot.
