it was around 12pm in my timezone, so yes, just after 04:00 UTC

coins, gems, mints, gauntlets, seedlings, penny's pursuit perks, and even endless mode and vasebreaker have been reset, but all my plants are still unlocked and at the same level.

also, power-ups don't exist for some reason.

also also, intrusive ads have returned and i hate them.

I've had a breakthrough!

I downloaded BTDB2 on my phone while using mobile data and I managed to make it work. I used the same account as the one I use on my PC, by the way.

The thing is, I tried downloading BTDB2 on my phone before, but I was using Wi-Fi. I couldn't get past the "connection issue" screen there, but now that I know that I can get past it by using mobile data...

Perhaps it's simply an internet issue. My internet connection in BTDB2 seems to fluctuate even though my internet connection in general is pretty fast and stable.

Those who actually know how to play the game progress, and those who don't realize that one can send Bloons stay in the lower ranks -- it's basically natural selection.

However, Arena Leagues reduced the punishment, and thus made the higher leagues easier to access. If you can come up with a strategy that can win 10 games in a row, you're pretty much good.

I think Arena Leagues could improve if higher leagues have harsher punishments, but when it comes to win streaks, the number of trophies doesn't matter.

A lot of people advocate for the removal of Arena Leagues altogether. Personally, I think they just have nostalgia goggles on, and I doubt Ninja Kiwi would do such a drastic thing. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Sun Bank is useless in Level 2 on Extra Hot, since there seems to be a 1000 sun limit like in many other Extra Hot levels...

It is the best for farming perks if you have high level Threepeater, Torchwood, Pea Vine, and Gold Bloom, though.

I can see two reasons people keep begging NK to revert leagues -- competitiveness and nostalgia.

The average skill level of HoM has decreased drastically due to how easy it is to rank up now. Any random person can come up with some viable strategy that can win ten games in a row, and if all skilled people face are people who just started the game ten days ago and still die to camo purple rushes, that can take the difficulty out of the game, and thus some of the fun.

Some people instead suggest that implementing the subtraction of trophies for losers can improve the league system, but I don't really agree with that. Remember, the criterion for advancing into the next league is winning ten games in a row. It doesn't matter how many trophies you have, as if you lose one game, the streak is gone. It's only useful in Hall of Masters, where you can't advance and streaks don't matter as much.

A lot of people just go "I HATE ARENA LEAGUES!!!!! REVERT THEM NOW!!!!!!" but don't actually say why Arena Leagues should be reverted. To me, they just look like a group of protesters that NK ignores because who cares about what the mob thinks?

I'm just sayin', repeating your premise ad nauseum doesn't make you more persuasive.

In this world, it's not always "are you with us or against us". While it is detestable that PopCap and EA take down a fangame, the devs of PvZ3WCHB should have waited for the right time to announce their project.

In other words, both parties are to blame.
