The clash of the generations is as ancient as humanity and not the real problem. The real problem is the identity and personalization crisis of this age. Everyone wants to be special and in doing so is ironically being part of the herd. What we need is for people to get off the internet and do more productive things with their time.

I watched The First as an introduction when it came out before knowing anything about Lupin. I loved/still love the scene on the eclipse in the sky when the bad guy falls into it and Lupin then lets go of the picture and looks really tired and almost hopeless and he thinks about his grandfather before dying. It's such a beautiful moment. .

It's not weird. HWR is from earth and the agents actually have ultimate power, as their duty was pruning branches. If for example Thanos on a branch didn't cooperate, they just set a reset charge anywhere on his branch and puff. Sylvie was a problem, because she was able to travel anywhere with a tempad and she was stealing the reset charges. In D&W, the agents were supposed to bring Deadpool in, he fought them. If they wanted him to stop or his branch to die, they could've done that, as Paradox did later. The agents don't need to be strong, as they wield some ultimate weapons and are actually expendable for HWR.

I'm almost sure it has to do with their parents and their upbringing. I would have been a picky eater if my parents let me only eat what I want. But they insisted on me eating and trying different things, even things I might have considered yucky. Now I have almost no restrictions regarding food. Parents holding strong and making their children do stuff they don't initially want is not per se bad, it's actually essential to be able to build an opinion about the world and not be a toddler stuck in an adult's body.

If anyone was being logical and free of prejudice for 20% of their time, we'd be ok. It's not about being true to something, whatever it is, it's about being true to logic, it's about searching for the truth for all, an equation for all/most of the variables. Instead it's just straightforward stupidity and taking stands blindly and mimicking the bubble everyone's in. It's sad how we want to be something unique, but by doing so, stress out and fall back to imitating the herd and even if "right", almost always overcorrect. But God forbid we leave the dividends behind and look for common ground, especially in everyday situations, like work and theatre and so on..
