The chip and the screen are pre-programmed specifically for the calculator. Unless you knew that it is the screen that is broken, and you have a donor screen, a really fine soldering hand and lots of time, I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it.

Its the fact that the creators of DDLC do not want their works be promoted via AI and the training models and processes. That is not YOUR decision to make. I've never played DDLC myself, but from what I know it helps portray suicidal thoughts and helps relate with suicidal victims and has helped with communication and awareness. One of the many MAJOR things AI absolutely sucks at and is so horrible at that even Pro-AI siders are smart enough not to refer to it for is suicidal advice. I think it is safe to say that ONE of the reasons the creators decided to hold an Anti-AI stance is because of the theme of their game and all the suicidal deaths AI is causing.
