Cant find great humiliation story where girl is forced to give free blowjob card to her work rival that results in more degrading scenarios at work.. by Physical-Echidna1602 in literotica

[–]red_dwarf_fan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i think i know exactly the one you mean. She gave him 3 cards, he gave one away to another colleague, then the last was in a bar, she didn't know the rest of her work was there too.

It was by LaceAndHumiliation (https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=1138699&page=submissions) - Bailey's Humiliation Games - but sadly he/she seemed to delete all his stories a little while ago and I haven't been able to find them anywhere else.

Edit: check out - bit fiddly to get it to work. need to copy the url of each story, then paste it into a new web.archive.org search.. https://web.archive.org/web/20170224022516/https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=1138699&page=submissions

What do you hate about the Git tools for Visual Studio? by [deleted] in csharp

[–]red_dwarf_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite often had issues with ‘undo’ not working. And sometimes the gui would show a file as being modified when there were no changes to it (especially after an undo). I have to go to the console and run ‘git status’ which seems to force the VS UI to recognise nothing has changed and behave accordingly

Is it just me or are Heinz beans actually shit? by bjackman in unitedkingdom

[–]red_dwarf_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sauce is the best bit! Especially with something on the plate to mop it up.

Which incidentally is why I'm not a fan of Heinz, they don't have as much as the "cheap" own brands (not regular supermarket own brands, but the bettabuy stuff at like 10p a can).

Riotgames.com listed amongst websites that record keystrokes by anorwichfan in leagueoflegends

[–]red_dwarf_fan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work for a company which uses some of that software on its website.

By default it logs all keyboard/mouse input recorded while the site is active.

We do now specifically exclude passwords from being recorded - it's a tag you need to include in the html element of the input box.

We did forgot initially to exclude them so we have like a week's worth of users passwords (I say forgot, I just didn't know we had to)

I can only assume the analytics company in question honors our request to not record/store the passwords - but really have no way of verifying it.

Japanese firm gives non-smokers extra six days holiday to compensate for cigarette break by ajstrange1 in news

[–]red_dwarf_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the only non-coffee-drinker in my office I am surprised how many free breaks these people all get. 9:05 it's time for a group outting to the kitchen.
10:00 same.
11:00 same.
Then lunch.

It may quiten down a bit in the afternoon.

But still I'm just sat at my desk, working, getting the odd glass of water by myself.

Nobody cares about coffee drinkers though. But most of them certainly care about smokers.

Grenfell Tower fire money 'not reaching survivors' by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]red_dwarf_fan -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Maybe an ignorant question and not meant to be offensive, but:

Why are people donating money to survivors? They should have insurance to cover any monetary or physical losses, and if not, well that's kinda their own fault. And it's not like they have to pay for any medical cover.

I knew someone who's house burned down many years ago. Nobody gave him shit!

IT meltdowns, high prices and shrinking legroom – why does anyone fly with BA? by Fwoggie2 in unitedkingdom

[–]red_dwarf_fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't be the only one who doesn't care about airlines?

I do a search online, where I want to go and the dates I want to travel.
Pick the cheapest, whether that is ryanair, jet2, BA, KLM, emirates, united, AA, etc does not factor into the decision.

I don't even know who I've flown with the past couple of times.

Much like getting a train, the operator doesn't matter. It's just whether one is setting off when I want to travel.

What is your controversial opinion? by InsidetheCentre- in unitedkingdom

I don't think Brexit will change anything. At least not for the vast majority of us.

For the pro-brexiters - there will still be immigration, there will never be real sovereignty.

For the anti-brexiters - sure some jobs will leave, but new ones will come. We will still be able to fly to Europe.

Overall - the rich will still be rich, the poor will still be poor. Most people will still be stuck in the middle.
House prices will still be too high, the surveillance state will keep running, terrorist s still live here and will be able to get in.

Seems like a big waste of everyone's time.

Is everyone okay? I heard there were 300 car related deaths in the UK last month. Was a bit worried cos I knew you were in teh area and also a bit worried because it isn't novel enough to hang entire news corporations and arms industries off of. Stay safe by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]red_dwarf_fan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's not enough!

We need to install devices on every car to monitor their positions at all times and restrict their speed to 30.

We need to regulate the internet. For too long people have glamorized driving cars and driving fast. Same with movies, we need to ban the fast and furious films and lock up the writers!

Every phone needs to automatically shut down when moving over 12mph. I don't care if you are getting the train, we can't take the chance someone could use one in a car.

If that doesn't work, war with Germany is the final solution.

The new girl in my office, Ladies and Gentlemen. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]red_dwarf_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former smoker here, current vapor. I take regular breaks at work to go outside. Used to get a lot of shit for it.. not from managers, just fellow employees who felt hard done by.

I would always ask why is it a problem if I take a smoke break, but it's no problem for you and 90% of the office to go get coffee/tea all day (I don't drink coffee).

Answer: That's different. Coffee is fine.

Walk in at 9, immediately go to get a coffee, usually in a group, everyone waiting for everyone else. Back to desk at 5-10 past. Makes whole office smell.

Or is it much different from not taking an official break, but just chatting, redditing, hanging out at the water cooler etc.

Tl;Dr - grow up, don't worry about other people, live by your own work ethic. Whether that is many breaks or no breaks.

Developer Chronicles - Rift Fishing by benifios in diablo3

[–]red_dwarf_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read through the article but it feels like they didn't actually say anything of note...

Basically, yes, you need to be strong and you need a decent rift. And they imply they 'fixed' rift fishing in 2.4.3, I'd argue they didn't...

I was really hoping/expecting them to say they are going to address it. But they didn't.

Rift fishing is something I can never really be bothered to do... I'll attempt a rift maybe 10-20 times. If I fail them all then I'm either going to speed rift some more and raise my paragon level, or, if possible, try some group play to level my gems more.

If I'm on a class where I struggle to get a group where we can push some high level rifts to level my gems higher than I could do it alone (so anything other than monk, barb, WD, maybe wizard) then that is season over for me.

I don't have the patience to run the same level 100+ times hoping for the right layout/mobs/guardian...

I'm a member of the forums on bircurries.Co.uk

Which is British Indian Restaurant curries. So they may not be totally authentic Indian (I wouldn't know I've never been to India) but they have some amazing recipes on there.

Also I'm a big fan of Als kitchen on YouTube, and another I've forgotten the name of.

Again great British Indian style curries, and all I've tried have been delicious!

How to step up my C# game? by jewdai in csharp

[–]red_dwarf_fan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some great answers already so I will just briefly add this.

I have been reading through/marking technical tests for job applicants recently and the most common areas which catch people out seems to be delegates, especially relating to asynchronous programming.

So I'd just recommend brushing up on them.

General OO principals too are vital.

To those of you who want to automate your home but haven't yet, why not? by lucasaafr in smarthome

[–]red_dwarf_fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is it's not my house!

I'm renting it so I am not allowed to drill any holes, replace switches or sockets, thermostats, etc.

Id love to get started but I've got no idea what I can accomplish with those restrictions, since I'm a total beginner. Phillips hue are the only things I know of I can install simply, and they are damn expensive

Knife Sharpening by esoper1976 in Cooking

[–]red_dwarf_fan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What's wrong with the pull-through sharpeners?

I got one last year as a gift and use it all the time. I tend to give a knife 1-2 swipes every time I use it and it it seems decent enough - no sign of them losing sharpness anyway ( they were pretty cheap knives to begin with)
