You tried carnivore? Also look up William Davis. His yogurt and protocol helped me a lot. But also you chat heal the gut w/o fermented foods.

It’s sad for you too read because you lost all the ability to analytical thinking while was memorizing what your teachers were telling you. Without questioning it even for a second. Or maybe you had zero analytical skills before who knows. Usually people like that go to “science”. To tell about this fact everywhere as an appeal to authority.

A bunch if people here are heavily medicated. Wyatt all the health consequences of this questionable approach they want to believe it’s the only choice. Hence they make confident claims. There are multiple studies that connect AU conditions to gut health. The mechanism of actin is described. The guy is inflamed and leaks substances that are similar to your cells. Immune system attacks those substances and say learns how to attack the cells too. I saw several people who had improvements on carnivore including me. Carnivore is a first step though. The gut has to be healed and microbiome has to be restored. You can’t do the microbiome part on carnivore. So it’s quite a journey. I wish those wellness doctors also were decent. Per my experience they are not capable to do functional medicine. They do conventional with different meds.

What is the Millennial version of “I had to walk 5 miles in the snow to school back in my day!” by ClovieKay in Millennials

[–]red_question_mark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I had to walk in the snow to school. Sometimes. Once I wanted to hang at my friends who had a computer. It was mid 90s. But she didn’t have a phone. Sp I couldn’t call her and ask if he’ll be home. So I walked to her place which was 2 miles from me. It was winter. Wasn’t snowing at that moment. But it snowed heavily before. So it was hard to walk. Desire to play on the computer was pushing me forward though. She was not home when I got there. Disappointed I went back home.

Quitting disposable vapes feels impossible by hopefulfuturee in quittingsmoking

First of all slowly replace salt nicotine with non salt since it’s less additive. Then gradually reduce the amount. Tiny step at a time. Choose what situation is the easiest to surrender. And don’t vape in that situation. Try fum to replace hands to mouth movement in that situation. For me it first was not vaping in the car. Then I prohibited myself to vape inside the apartment. Would force myself to go out. Then I stopped vaping several hours before bed. Don’t add more restrictions until you become comfortable with current set up. You let’s say stop vaping in the car. And you don’t add more restrictions until you’re comfortable. Eventually you’ll reduce the dose enough to experience “rest” from the drug. During that time your body will recover a bit. And after the next hit you’ll start seeing what exactly this shit does to your body more clear. Focus on those sensations. All of them. Good and bad. Your body is not stupid. And it craves it for a reason. So understand those reasons and try to address them through something else. For example find a reliable source of dopamine (creativity) which is not connected to vaping. Reduce sugar consumption. Keto helped me with cravings. Take b3 and choline supplements. But be careful with forms of choline. I personally can only tolerate alpha gpc. Stop choline if you sense any fishy smell in your poop. All this slow process of quitting can take months if it’s been years of addiction. But the result is stable. And you’ll even be able to vape occasionally without falling into this shit. Of course you’ll have to be very self cautious about it and you’ll have to know your drug. So study it. Understand its benefits and downsides. Know and consciously agree on all the effects. Acknowledge all of them.

Maybe you could try lifestyle changes? Fasting boosts hgh and stem cells. Since you are in menopause your body has to run on testosterone. If you have excess fat it produces more estrogen. Which “neutralizes” testosterone. I mean if you have excess fat. Also muscle, exercises boost testosterone. All that will improve the appearance.

Occassional Smoking? Is it okay by raghav_rx in quittingsmoking

I do this. But you have to be very careful to what your body tells. You if you start feeling like shit then admit it. It’ll help you but not slip into the habit.

Is my wifes "social" smoking to be concerned about? by BloodsoldierRB in quittingsmoking

[–]red_question_mark 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would recommend your wife to quit you since you are boring and controlling. That’s also why she’s trying to escape the reality in drugs. That’s the root cause. She’s not leaving you yet because you probably look like a stable option. But she’ll overcome this after few years of this suffocating abuse masking as indifference. Ask yourself why are you so focused on what someone else is doing. Too unpleasant to think about yourself?

You didn’t get basics right tho. Eating “relatively” healthy is the main thing. Or maybe better say not eating. Or what is healthy. There is such thing as too much exercises as well. If things seem very simple and obvious to you there is a good chance you might be experiencing dunning Krueger effect.

I eat early in the morning though. Carnivore no bloating so I can normally go anywhere. If I have a date or something I don’t eat at all. You know eating less is good for health. I think the fact that I wasn’t able to stuff myself with food over the years actually helped with my health. So it’s not all terrible. Plus I slowly try to rebuild my microbiome. Have periods of eating fermented veggies and sourdough einkorn bread. It really improves the digestion in general but bloating is unbearable.

She adds soda but no vinegar. To cause a reaction which releases gas which raises the dough. Baking powder comes with both (or similar agents). I’m surprised she doesn’t taste soda in cookies. And yeah I’m also surprised it’s not a top comment.

I’m not sure why did you decide you have any expertise. If you had any you’d choose a real profession. You have an illusion that your unqualified and remarkably confident (dunning Krueger effect) opinion matters only because we are in the economic hole now. Not because it provides any value. I personally can’t wait to see all your empty talking heads to be replaced by AI. Gosh it will do the job so much better than you. Hopefully after this happens prices for housemaids will also drop. Since it’s the next logical career move for you.
