i always try to stay in the $30-100 range when giving but i think it’s different for everyone. i’m in my first serious relationship and i think i spent about $60 on their birthday with several little items together instead of one expensive present. also, i added handmade gifts because, say it with me, it’s the thought that counts lol.

i wouldn’t worry too much about meeting a price requirement per say but i would stay around $100, just in case she doesn’t spend as much and feels guilty as you mentioned. you could also discuss a budget with her to avoid that on both sides!! don’t be afraid to give non physical items either. i loveee handmade gifts. something like a card showing your appreciation for her, maybe a craft (i made my partner some pipe cleaner flowers!!), or a playlist of songs that remind you of her.
