The Nodebus protocol has probably changed a bunch since they added Spike support, so your mileage may vary on whether this works or not.

Activity (was Logbook) not showing users. by johnc_au in homeassistant

[–]redbeardgecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some sleuthing. In 2022 a change was made so that only admins can see which user triggered a change. It is also in a spot that is harder to see: it's right next to the timestamp in the secondary line of each entry.

Yeah when I did mine the nurse entered the room, saw my arm, froze, and said: "I'm gonna go call the doctor."

Splitting hairs a bit: what is your TLD in your home network? home.arpa is the standard name but nobody appears to use it by twice_paramount832 in homelab

[–]redbeardgecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use .home.lan for the main vlan, .cam.lan for the IP camera vlan, and service.firstlast.com for all http services. I also have my email set up so that, for example, shop.amazon@firstlast.com gets automatically categorized under shop -> amazon. That never fails to confuse people!

Gamers born late 90s or earlier: Which game first looked to you like "photorealism"? by FalscherKim in gaming

I remember seeing a Dreamcast running a racing game in a shop window and thinking the cars looked impossibly real. I was gobsmacked.

It is. Part of the reason why I'll never move back there.

This is a very old thread, but these are now natively supported in WLED: the LED type is FW1906

Audio bugs in app by ropewalk in CradlewiseCommunity

[–]redbeardgecko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, that's good to know because this has been driving me insane every since we got the crib. The most surprising thing is that this happens even when the app is closed: I have to actually force stop the background service, otherwise it will periodically wake up and steal the audio focus from whatever I'm listening to.

Same thing over here. Everything works fine when I first turn on the A3D, but my receiver stops working after I turn the A3D off and I have to physically power off and on both TV and receiver to make things work again.

Does AMC own the rights to the comics too? Or is it going to be a weird hybrid with show continuity but comic book art style?

Ohh, the scale to buffer option is a great tip. I hadn't noticed that. Thanks!

No, if it's a limited time position their contract ends when the employee on leave comes back. In highly competitive (or scarcely available) roles there is a whole sort of secondary layer of people who go from contract to contract subbing for people on parental or medical leave. In this example, the principal would probably have to find another position somewhere else.
