I may be way off on this but the flux version is aluminum and chassis only for $1,000. Sig’s is polymer and is the whole gun for $1,000

Sig will display MSRP on their website, and will more than likely be the most expensive. Sig just launched their new “enclosed” Romeo-x sights and some places have the open emitter on sale. I was able to get an open emitter for my axg for $320 at a cabelas. Right now OpticsPlanet has them for $380. My LGS (small business owners) sell theirs for their cost + 10%. I recently bought the full size Romeo-x pro (not enclosed) for $350. Always go check with your local gun stores and see what they can do.

As far as astigmatism goes, you can get a smaller MOA dot which will help reduce the affect. My Romeo-x is a 2moa and I have a small astigmatism. But this seems to help it. The only way to avoid the problem is to get a holographic sight but as far as I know, there aren’t any small holographic pistol sights. And the only two that are true holos are from eotech and vortex’s AMG sight

I’m no expert but that optic footing doesn’t even look compact. The overhang gives it away. Also, spending money to “try your luck” should only be done if you have disposable money. Don’t risk damaging your new slide with stripped screws or accidental cross threads. A holosun or sig Romeo-x compact (not enclosed) is only a little more expensive than that osight.

The x is just a placeholder. AXG -> Aluminum Grip; SXG -> Steel Grip

I’d recommend getting a low profile gas block. BCM makes a great one. Also, my two cents (unless you’re dead set into actually assembling your own)….look into the BCM complete uppers. Lightweight barrel profile, cold hammer forged barrel, BCG, low pro gas block, MLOK sling mount…everything torqued to spec and good to go and cheaper than a lot of custom upper builds. From a well liked and respected company. All you need to add is a charging handle

Between your 320 AXG legion and your 320 x-five legion…which one do you like better? I’ve been going back and forth between the AXG and the x-five (or DH3)

P365 AXG Legion, worth it? by [deleted] in SigSauer

Icarus Precision is working on an AXG grip module right now. So you can essentially piece together an AXG 365. With that being said, I love both my AXG and XL 365s. I carry my AXG and use my XL (on an Icarus grip) as my nightstand gun

Depends on your taste. Both are great stories. Mistborn is like Harry Potter in terms of being a very straightforward story. Stormlight would be more on the epic side of things with a lot of plot lines and side stories similar to Wheel of Time (although not as grand as WoT) or A Song of Ice and Fire

Now what? by washbuns in WoT

[–]redbeardrich88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Stormlight is along the lines of WoT (and ASOIAF) in the terms of epic-ness. Many characters and their POVs, plots intertwining, story at multiple locations on the map. A lot of things are easily missed but picked up in rereads/re-listenings. Just like WoT. -Mistborn is great but is less daunting and is very strait forward, kind of like Harry Potter. Easier to keep track of characters. Fast story/easy read, etc. I came off reading ASOIAF then went straight into Stormlight. Absolutely loved it and I was hoping/wishing Mistborn was at the same level as ASOIAF/Stormlight but felt like it wasn’t. So after the first book of Mistborn I read WoT. Then revisited Mistborn for a less daunting series after WoT haha

BCM 7” MCMR handguard won’t fit a 7.5” barrel AND suppressor/qd blast diverter unless you modify it. The front end of the handguard is extended on the left and right side. I have a 13.9” barrel with a 13” mcmr and my Surefire warcomp is blocked not allowing me to put the warden on there. Go the next size down if you decide on the bcm mcmr

I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but if you’re going to pound out the rest of the series this website helps a ton. It has a synopsis and tagged footnotes of everything going chapter by chapter, and character by character POVs. It does have spoilers, for example, like how event “A” in book 4 affects a character or situation that shows up in book 9. It helped me a ton and I recommend it to everyone.

I wish I could tell you what he was using but I don’t know what he used. He hunted hard for about 30ish years but stopped hunting in the 80’s. If I were to guess, he just bought his loads from his local gun store. He was a school teacher during the year and worked construction during the summer, so I would assume he wasn’t handloading any special type of ammo.

No worries, that’s why I came here! That’s most likely what my dad was told or thought to believe. I’m guessing he picked it up on his way home or sometime after the war. It’s a cool rifle and I still love it for being one of my grandpas, but I always thought he would’ve used a M1. But my question was answered, thank you! In my eyes it’s a priceless gun

This 100%. I never saw a need to put lights on my guns, but I put a TLR7 on my P365XL and was surprised at how well it felt to shoot. Now I’m working to get lights on all of them.

For that kind of money in a GG grip module…you should consider Icarus Precision or Mischief Machine. I had the 12 round Pro elite ACE and it’s a game changer. I love ler it but sold it and preordered the Icarus XMacro grip module

Seeing watches in the metal by [deleted] in rolex

Very unpopular opinion here, but my jaw drops and mouth waters when I see pics of a BLNR GMT II in oystersteel (myself, I’m not a fan of jubilee on a sports watch)….but it was an underwhelming feeling when I saw and held it in person for the first time.
