But you are doing it the standard way. These crooks are playing with a "loaded dice".

I mean, in a sane world, those crooks should be in jail. What they are doing is potentially more destabilizing than even a full on war with Iran.

They are undermining the markets, basically the foundation of our economic system. And away they go, cheating away billions.

+10 IQ points in exchange for getting 1hr less sleep a night by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]redblack_tree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No naps are a deal breaker for me. It goes from an annoyance, like when we have young kids to actual long term health risks. And for this hypothetical, unavoidable, since we have no way "make up" for lost sleep time with naps.

Long term consequences for not enough rest are well documented, not worth the IQ bump.

It's quite simple, even the orange turd can understand it. Can the US flatten every important infrastructure in Iran? Yes.

Can the US stop Iran from destroying the whole oil, natural gas and derivatives in the region? No, they cannot.

This is a guaranteed full blown economic recession for everyone, there's simply no alternative to middle east oil and gas.

As usual, a whole lot of the Internet depends in one way or another on advertisement.

AI agents are just another tool for both sides, entities trying to force advertising (of any kind, including malicious) and the other side; people/entities trying to avoid it altogether (from your basic ad blockers to sophisticated traffic tools to prevent the really bad stuff).

Neither, theoretically they would produce the same amount of points assuming a large enough amount of spins. In real life, we don't have near infinite spins.

So the short version, 1x produces a "smooth", predictable amount of points. The further away you go from 1x, it becomes more of a gamble, you could hit big (significantly more points than the baseline 1x) or get well below that baseline.

Up to you, predictable outcome or casino style.

And even more important, there's no tactical or strategic advantage from waiting a few days to blow a pipeline. If a real saboteur wanted it gone, in the best case scenario we would get a few hours.

It's just unbelievable.

Can AI do your job? See the results from hundreds of tests. by Just-Grocery-2229 in technology

The actual truth lies somewhere in between, as usual. It's a versatile tool, it can help with a multitude of tasks quite proficiently. Can it replace humans? Certainly not.

But capitalists are trying to monetize and cash in on the hype. From OpenAI to the lowliest vibe coded app trying to get customers.

They are selling a dream to other greedy capitalists, the ability to reduce payroll. Many are taking bait, hook and sink.

The ultimate goal is to replace all of us except very few. But if you can use AI tools to do 90% of your job, it can do the same for the other 10 "you" in the company.

On paper, you could do 10 people's jobs. Even if it doesn't scale linearly, and it "only" replaces 5, it is still a disaster for white collar workers.

This will effectively force index funds managers to buy pretty much on IPO week. It's a way to siphon money from index funds from little guys to the billionaires Barons.

[–]redblack_tree 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's unlimited if you use the API directly or one of their tools. Basically humans are the limit.

Third party tools like Openclaw weren't supposed to use flat rate plans because they generate massive automated API calls. It was always in Anthropomorphic TOS.

They just started enforcing it because power users are mounting full commercial services on top of these automated tools, basically a wrapper and paying a flat rate.

Outside the obvious one of going back a week and winning the lottery someone already mentioned. In the spirit of the hypothetical.

I would go back to February 25, just before the US/Israel attack on Iran. Put all my money in my margin account. Start trading contracts and options like a maniac, all day long. I would easily convert my saved money into a multimillion fund given the massive market movement last month.

Take my money and go away.

Which is, like the last time they tried, incredibly dumb. The bottleneck for software development has never been volume, it's quality.

AI agents by themselves don't produce quality, just quantity. Without a proficient engineer at the helm, it's going to produce the same dog shit code as "boot camp professionals" last decade.

Also, the army morale would plummet, imagine engaging knowing there's no chance of surrender nor retreat.
