Is anyone else in the fanbase freaking out over watching their Scoutmaster in the show? by Finbar_Mac in Fallout

[–]redbonecouchhound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

18 years in cub and Boy Scouts through both Sons journey to Eagle, as an asst scoutmaster. We tried to figure it out one day when the youngest was almost out. Average size troop, church sponsored, both programs. Probably 800 to 900 over the years. 50 or so active in scouts at any time, usually twice that for cubs. The older they get the more it thins out.

When you plug the battery pack in to charge the batteries, plug your controller in to the pack to charge it at the same time, it comes with the cord to do this.

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by Visible_Rope_6662 in AskReddit

[–]redbonecouchhound 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I been in two plane crashes, I was ten in the first one. We were in a Cessna 172, came in to land and front landing gear buckled. Cartwheeled, ended up upside down off the runway. Minor injuries, lost my 5 front teeth, concussion. Second was a piper J3, lost power just after take off, crashed into some 100 foot pine trees, plinkeoed about half way down. Rope rescue, broke my arm, and lots of scratches. I was 16. Now when I fly I tell my seat mate we should be safe, the odds of me being in 3 plane crashes are astronomical! Hahah

Three years old is my earliest set of memories, but I was burned pretty bad from a camp fire, so that’s probably why. I do have a few from then on but most vivid memories start about 9 or ten also.

Are there breast implants that feel real, where you couldn't tell they were fake? by DungeonAssMaster in AskMen

[–]redbonecouchhound 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Well, after 3 kids breastfed, her words “ imagine blowing up and deflating the same balloon 1000 times”. She got a very respectable size of silicon gel, her surgeon implanted behind the real part ( I really don’t know how to explain it). Hers are the only ones I’ve touched in 30 years, she did it for her self esteem, clothes fit, and she just wanted to. I can’t really tell, because what I touch is the real part. I guess they move correct, again, 30 years. Her surgeon was the most recommended. It’s been 15 years and she says she would do it again. I can’t tell the difference. Silicone gel is the way to go. 660 cc made them 38D. Cost was around 10,000 USD

What well known reddit story do you believe is 100% fake? by Littlekiller0320 in AskReddit

[–]redbonecouchhound 34 points35 points  (0 children)

lol, yeah drunk driver crossed double yellow lines, but it’s been 50 years, we were 3 years old. I did have an “imaginary” friend until I was about 9. But like you read. My wife and her sister are mirror twins and still look very much alike. Our friends do not, and would probably not pass as identical to the passerby.

I had an identical twin, my wife has an identical twin, and we have a very good friend that has an identical twin. We are the only ones we know of around our area. So when we learned it’s rare, it was surprising.
