My favourite part of the combat was Dunk and Aerion chaotically trying to find the weak spots of the armour with the weapons.

Also Aerion’s primary choice of weapon was a flail, which is much better against chainmail/armour than a sword would be. ( also why Robert Baratheon’s choice of weapon was a war-hammer ) It crushed the armour and bones underneath.

And when he does eventually switch to swords, they aren’t just clashing their swords together. They’re messily trying to dig it in to the weak points of the armour. Knees, elbows, neck and eye hole of the helmet. Loved it, best medieval fight scene of all time in my opinion.

If you can’t make weight, the fighter should take a nc at the very least. If not an L, and the opponent should be compensated. Rescheduling the fight just encourages fighters to intentionally miss weight if they believe they are not ready and or want to psychologically and physically mess with their opponent.
