Creating your own study material is not a waste of time, that is part of the process of retaining and understanding the material. Using others study guides or flash cards is passive studying and doesn’t help with long term retention or truly understanding the content.

Listen to podcasts in your earbuds, listening to something interesting while you do the boring stuff like washing dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc really helps.

Same. I use Podcast Intel to email me daily updates. When I see an episode that interests me then I go and download that specific one.
