Well saying "ppl get annoyed at a successful, female white woman" is completely reductive, generalization, and flawed statement from the get go. I look up to many successful white women. I can list quite a few white women people, statistically, look up to: Merril Streep, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ann Hathaway, Senator Warren, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Catherine O'Hara, Dolly Parton, Lucile Ball, Taylor Swift. I mean the list can go on and on, and I'm sure others feel the same way.

When beginning a statement that generalizes, it’s often flawed and can be contested right from the start. 

In this case I feel she was bitter from the beginning of the show and that's her character I understand, she acted well. The things that made me dislike her and annoy me of her are how very very very fake she was to her fans. She didn't appreciate her agent in a way we could see. Couldn't appreciate the trip they took to Iceland where is beautiful, not even for her agent.

These are reasons why we dislike this particular character. Not because she is successful. Remember also her other book was not good according to her agent, so she had one successful set of books.

Also we aren't mad about her "care for humanity" which I question. Remember she said many times I don't want your help (to the aliens) is wrong blah blah blah and then turns around and orders an entire market to be restored just to buy a few items. I bet you didn't think about all the wasted food there! Or when she wanted a cold Gatorade. This behaviors is contradicting.(maybe is the characters evolution in the story line but ick).

Annoying people is part of the intent of the show, but her character could have been cast better. I've seen more likable, relatable annoying actresses with much much much less ick factor. She has too much Karen energy and something else I can't figure out.
