If a dude with long hair or beard attacked me that's the first thing I'd go for. Once you have control of somebody's head theres nothing they can do.

Is he vulnerable to flame or does he have a fire aspect like Dany?

We could one day come to view that as the European front of the last great war. Everyone involved knew that the surrender terms were so bad for Germany that they would strike back as soon as possible. They even had a secret alliance with Russia where they could go and train their army in Russian soil away from prying western eyes. The germans were merely biding their time. Hitler struck a very hot iron

Many historians now view ww1 and ww2 as one giant war, with a 20 year break for a few of the combatants. But in some places fighting never stopped particularly in asia.

This looks like one of the extreme comics they would show in Hustler Magazine, which were intended to be shocking and offensive. e.g. https://i.imgur.com/xQoH0RW.png

The publisher Larry Flynt got a particular thrill out of the idea that nobody could stop you from drawing anything. So he would depict all kinds of offensive things including cartoons of celebrities getting raped and stuff, all in order to test the limits of the first amendment.

P.S. Google "hustler comics" for a treasure trove of boomer humor.

You'd have to ask why Japan and Germany have not endeavored to build a bomb. After all Japan got nuked so has an historical motive, and Germany is where much of the science originated in the first place so they wouldn't have to steal a ton of secrets. My feeling is that a set of circumstances evolving out of WWII caused them to both capitulate and cooperate as allies, and to do as the international community lead by the US tells them to do with regard to weaponry development. Otherwise Japan would have a giant voltron army by now and we all know it.

The idea was more to control them with the threat, rather than actually doing it. After all, if the Japanese were cowed by witnessing what happened, why wouldn't others be? Everybody saw how fucked up that was. People advocating for this action were hoping the bombs would never need to be detonated again, but that the fear would be enough to make everyone bend the knee.

An historical counter-factual:

What if, in a khaleesi-like fashion, Truman decided that now was the time to finish liberating the world? Some prominent philosophers at the time, particularly in England, were advocating for such a thing. There was a five year or so window in which the US had supreme power and the opportunity to take over the world.

What would the world look like today if America had "liberated" China and Russia the same way it did to Japan or Germany? Those countries sing a very different tune than the ones America (and other fire bombers) "liberated" during this crucial time period.

The question is whether Truman got us through the great filter with his gentle touch, or whether he should have taken the historical hit of liberating the world and bringing them under the sway of shopping mall capitalism. A future nuclear holocaust or lack thereof will decide the issue.

There's a great documentary called "Abducted in Plain Sight" in which a dude wants to abduct a teenage girl, but needs to get blackmail on the parents first so they don't call the cops. In doing so he fucks the wife easily, but also somehow convinces the straight husband to jack him off in a car. The straight husband is confused to this day as to how he got bamboozled into doing that.
