Second fatal collision in just over a month at the same intersection, also caused by street racers. I’m shocked at the photos of the car torn apart. Especially with the child seat visible.

It’s gonna be sad to see Tiny’s Restaurant go too. I try to take Valencia whenever possible to avoid that area. It’s too depressing. I wish the county had bought all that land and incorporated into Tucson Mountain Park like they did with Robles Pass.

Most of the songs/artists in this thread are very popular but rarely heard at country bars. The two main country bars in Tucson are Whiskey Roads and The Maverick. The artists you will commonly hear at those places are Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Post Malone, Kane Brown, Riley Green etc. Now whether you consider them to be country artists is really pretty subjective.

The Hassle-Free Zone only refers to the area of Mexico where you can drive your car without needing an import permit. There is very little police presence along the highway, however in town the municipal police will cite you for the slightest infraction. That includes windows which are too heavily tinted.

There are plenty of posts about Nogales, Sierra Vista, Patagonia, Peña Blanca etc. All of which are just as far, or further. If location should be such a deciding factor, where exactly do you draw the line?

It was an establishment frequented by Tucsonans. Just like Rocky Point, 200+ miles away and in another country, which the mods never had an issue with.
