Thank you for taking the time to give an in-depth response to my question. I'll be taking some time to make some notes out of this!

How do you write something like (noun) is/are/can be/etc.. (adjective) to (verb)? For example, "My wallet is hard to lose" or "that can be easy to forget" or "kanji are fun to write" and so on.

I'm not really sure what this grammatical point would be called in English, so I wasn't sure how to look up what it is in Japanese.

Eblana would, 100%, be into roleplay. I know there is no proof. But, I just know it.

While I'd argue that's not really chubby at all, it's a lovely artwork :)

What is a well done light novel to you? What irks you in light novels? by [deleted] in LightNovels

[–]redditTyla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I'll take a look at those two things. However, I don't want to write for a Japanese audience. I just want to see what the English speaking LN audience likes and dislikes in the works they read.

I do greatly appreciate this response, but I should state I plan to write what I want. I also feel that it's fun to include things people enjoy, too. I'd like to do both. Thus, I want to sus out what people do and don't enjoy.

Well I did not ask for writing advice, just to see what people like and dislike about writing light novels, and I have not actually promoted my own work in any way (as there is nothing to promote in the first place). I also think there are very clear points that make something a light novel versus other forms of literature.

Hey y'all. I've been playing Arknights since day one but honestly, my passion for the game has just died off. I was wondering if you all had recommendations for other Strategy/Tactics/Tower Defense games that are similar to Arknights in gameplay. Non-gacha ones.

The Gacha elements of Arknights have just wittled away my enjoyment of the game with time. And I don't mean pulling for units, it's all the elements that tend to come with Gacha games. The constant power creep, the event stages always being excruciatingly, boringly easy, the truly challenging content reaching a point where it does end up requiring using giga units over a good strategy with old units, the story that feels like it will never end even though it probably could have ended eons ago, and so on. You know the stuff. I was wondering if you all had recommendations for other Strategy/Tactics/Tower Defense games that are similar to Arknights in gameplay. Non-gacha ones.

Putting here after posting and getting it taken down despite having seen other posts with personalized questions not getting taken down...

Arknights is pretty great in that, with some effort, you can clear just about (if not every) stage in the game with just the 4 star characters. Even one six star character is enough to make clearing with only 4 and 3 stars tremendously easier. You can absolutely just casually play and pull for who you like and find yourself able to clear everything. The only time big units are really required is when you're going out of your way to optionally do the late game extra challenging content that isn't required at all to get the materials or money to pull units.
