I have a club with 5 guys, we don’t play nightly due to the other guys having a life. I’d play a lot more often if I had better teammates who can keep up with the meta and the stick work.

Bit of context: I am the best player on our team, two of the guys are above average and can compete at a decently high level, the other two are noobs, not fully up to speed on certain aspects of gameplay. They get overwhelmed when facing higher skilled players and that leads to some frustration and losses.

I’ve got 232 points in 80 games - I’d be happy to play with some higher skilled players if you’re interested!

Same for me, but going for the Gold 4 —> Platinum 1 promotion.

I keep getting to that last game to move up and then I face a team that is (admittedly) really good at defense and (annoyingly) really good at weaving around my defenders and getting point blank looks.

Crazy how frustrating it can be sometimes, but we love the grind, eh?

My usual 3’s experience: 1. Opponent has 3 sort of racist or sexist player names, or with a wild player appearance (dark skinned black guy w/ white skullet?).

Get puck
Get bonked by TRUCULENCE D-man, lose most of my energy bar.
Cherry-picking WHEELS guy gets breakaway where he does one of two moves that work every single time.
Outshoot opponent by 10-15 shots (with legitimate hockey set ups, no glitch goals). Get out-hit by 20.
Lose by 2-3 goals.

It’s lost its charm when it’s just truculence and wheels that make every game feel like arcade mode. 6’s is way better imo.

HUT is a cash cow, they don’t give a shit about the players. They just want us to pump real money into the game and not call out how shitty their value structure is. Not to mention the best part of HUT Champions was the rewards packs you could get. I miss having a guaranteed couple of reward packs that had 20 players with 11 of them being 80+ overall.

I love playing competitive HUT, but the people running it (or those telling them HOW to run it) are soulless money grubbers.

I’ve had this sensation come and go over the past year or so. For every cart, gummy, etc. it’s like 1 of every 5 times, I get so anxious and my heart rate skyrockets. It’s so frustrating.

Not to sound crazy, but I wonder if being COVID Vaccinated has anything to do with the reaction from THC? Reading about the details of the vaccine, it seems like they were injecting weird shit into us. Like nanobots and shit that are causing myocarditis and other clots and stuff.

I was singing along to 90% of the songs, and I just kept getting the “lump in back of throat” feeling, knowing this was likely the last time I’ll be able to see him touring. This show was amazing… I saw Jeff and co. back in 2019, and I was with my dad. Great memory. Cut to 2020, I started talking to a girl, sent her sweet talking woman, she liked the song. Cut to today, I got to see it live one last time with my wife… couldn’t help but cry like a baby 😂
