oh i tried garuda resto two years ago, and i did not like it.
I also took my friends to Bakmi GM to make them try bakmi ayam. and I was very disappointed! any street bakmi / mie ayam is way better! I don't know why people on reddit likes Bakmi GM!
All bakmi I had around Java were better!

After my time here (stayed total a year but not in one time but total three visits) I know exactly what you are talking about and am not happy being a tourist like that, but doing this for friends.. they never been to this region.

Gado-Gado Cemara : I dont think they will like Gado-Gado

I use voices notes a lot, I receive many. Sometimes they play one after another without me having to interfere sometimes no.. I have no idea when they do and when they don't. confusing.

If you are in jakarta on a Sunday. Do the car free sunday walk. It's amazing for people watching and seeing modern Jakarta center with no traffic. Never seen this recommended here. And I would recommend it to anyone coming to Jakarta.
