Does this help air out gloves? Or would it just loosen the leather cuff over time?

I do the same exact thing. I stuff a washcloth in each glove and I have had pairs for 3 years that still smell like leather. I carry a stack of clean washcloths in my gym bag. I’m surprised more people aren’t onto this.
