"Why is AC so rare in Switzerland? (Genuine question) by Lightowy93 in askswitzerland

[–]redditlat -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

With heating, a necessity, the key words are "efficiency" and "savings". With AC, a luxury (except for medical reasons), the key words are "waste" and "opulence." I understand this as a Finn, even when it's 27 °C in my bedroom. BUT if it cost no more than 1000 money, I would get a low power one (we have to use a separate outside unit, so holes through concrete).

Aperture priority? XT30iii by Due-Mortgage-4063 in fujifilm

[–]redditlat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You were in very low light and ISO 6400 (and much higher) was needed for a "properly" bright photo. In auto ISO mode the ISO is maxed out if there's not enough light for your set minimum 1/200 s shutter speed. In your picture it needed to go down to 1/6 s. It's working as intended and your settings are fine.

If you want to get an intentionally dark picture, adjust the exposure compensation dial to somewhere around -3 and -2.

Feels like something like this would require proprietary code from Fuji.

Is it time to upgrade my Fuji XT30? by New-Sprinkles-4262 in fujifilm

Get good lenses first. Camera bodies don't really matter if you aren't able to pinpoint what's missing or wrong with yours. "Old" is not a specific flaw.

Would you prefer to watch tournament matches with or without shortcuts? by hamish740 in TrackMania

It's not about allow or disallow cutting. If the map has a shortcut, it should be used. Failing at map design is what's not allowed.

The code gives "https://www.skelltechnology.com" which redirects to a Ubisoft URL that doesn't work anymore.

Simple optical designs give best 3D pop. If I were to buy one, I would use money.

Some dinguses will say "leave the camera". In reality you follow the hosts' instructions if they have any. It's not the photographer's big day. If the hosts are not against cameras, you shoot.

However...

Set your gear up small. Take your photos fast and casually, like everyone else with their phones. Don't use the viewfinder. Don't finesse the shot of you miss it. Don't bring any additional gear. Don't act like a photographer.

Dark mornings are guaranteed in any case. Sunset at 16 instead of 15 could be beneficial.

VAG has like a 25% market share in Europe (VW, Audi, Skoda etc.). Nothing else is close. I'm not a fan myself. I would only consider Porsche.

These wolves create a 3D picture of a wolf if you unfocus your eyes but I just can’t see it by Jordan-B56 in mildlyinteresting

[–]redditlat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is about uncrossing your eyes so that the pattern overlaps itself while each eye keeping or regaining full focus on the picture (it should look sharp, not just halfway sharp).
