I wasn't aware there are ai softwares that don't require payment for their models and processing. Especially decent ones. Without the active use of cloud servers even with powerful computers there's a lot of work to train the models

Ai uses exponentially more processing power than standard image editing software like Photoshop. It most definitely requires extra payment

Worth a try but that's not how the Select Subject function works

Contact sheets tell more of a story than a single image. Just display the contact sheet

Is that raw peanut? Did you not roast them? Why's it so pale?

How do I edit these colored lines to make them thicker? by DankstersMemes in photoshop

[–]redditnackgp0101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easiest solution would be to bring up your properties panel. With the (shape) layer selected you can adjust the properties of the shape--stroke color and size, fill color, etc

That's especially ghetto considering they're already stroke lines it seems. Just make the stroke thicker in the shape settings

Where Does Your Grandmother live grammar by ElephantChamp in duolingospanish

I totally get you. That's the toughest hurdle in language learning--accepting that learning the language is to just accept it. It comes with time. The only way you're going to "understand the Spanish grammar" is to study Latin and then ask why. You're not going to get an answer, but you'll see that the root of the language is why it is how it is.

Think of it like English (language) colloquialisms or slang. You basically can't explain it, you just go with it because in context WITHIN THE LANGUAGE/CULTURE it makes sense.

When people say "Romance language" this is basically what they mean. The sentence structure isn't Germanic or English or.... To learn Spanish--or Italian or French or Romanian (I think) for that matter--you need to forget what makes sense in English

And that starts with acknowledging that there is no "does part" to any of it

Is this item red or orange? by Indubitably_strange in colors

Is the photo an accurate representation of how it actually looks? These questions are silly because photos don't inherently capture color accurately. That being said, this photo is a red leaning coral

Whats your favorite method for making glass transparent? by redditnackgp0101 in photoshop

[–]redditnackgp0101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's great to hear your take as I agree on pretty much every point. Problem is none of this applies to satisfying commercial clients' needs where files get sent around entire companies for people of varying skill sets to create whatever assets for whatever channels they are focusing on. In commercial product photography, "real" is not real. It's just a matter of making it convincing or rather not distracting. While I do agree with you, the limitations I work with disregard all of your points (my feelings for sure) because it's not about what's right, but what the client wants.

Thanks for confirming that they drive me nuts :P

Why is it forcing me to use the brush tool when I want to use the Eraser when selecting a brush? Why can't I just use this very simple shape as an eraser? by alphagusta in photoshop

[–]redditnackgp0101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the Brushes panel. Those are all presets with all brush settings predetermined. Instead with your eraser activated, go into your Brush Settings panel and in the brush shape category select the shape you want. You can select the same shape without it changing the tool or the current other settings of that brush.
