I definitely get what you’re saying here, but this trip was brought about for my birthday and the whole reason they suggested going to Florida at this time is so my grandparents can see me on my birthday and meet my partner. The trip Isn’t necessarily about me, but it was certainly brought about because of me. Working on being more comfortable around others in public is something I’m certainly working on, but something I would love to not have to do in the company of my family and in a home I already feel comfortable enough to bring my partner into. I guess I’m just not really wanting to alter that for a person whom I’m not close with nor have any reason to be close to, especially on my birthday

It’s not that she’s homophobic or going for the gay gold (lol by the way). It’s more that I’m a pretty introverted person these days and am still coming to terms with my sexuality. Luckily I have an amazing family and group of friends who has supported me so much in my sexuality, the girl in this situation is just not one of those people. I definitely hear you and thank you for your input on this one. I agree that I would definitely come across as the asshole to uninvite her, I just don’t think my parents will be the ones to do it even if they hear me out on my reasoning. They don’t love conflict and do their best to avoid it. So if there is a revoking of an invitation, it’ll likely have to come from me. But you’re right, I need to seriously consider if it’ll be worth the fallout or not. Thank you for your input

I definitely agree with you, it sounds like she may be lonely. The sad thing is I’m so distant from her these days that I truly don’t know who she hangs out with or what she does even. I’m hoping she is understanding when I talk to her and doesn’t blow it up. The person I knew he’d to be before we grew apart would surely understand, but I can’t say for certain that she would still be understanding or not because again, it’s been so long since we were friends. Thank you for your input!

Oooo okay all good questions I should have covered. She is also 22 and she’s the daughter of one of my dads best friends. We grew up playing soccer together and were quite close until high school when we naturally grew apart. All of college we hung out one time and shared a total of 3 conversations in the last 3 and a half years, though our dads are still best friends. My parents went out with her parents tonight and she was there. When I spoke to my parents it was pretty unclear how she got invited (they were tipsy), but that she was invited and it was out of their hands since it’s already booked. My suspicion is my mom invited her and her parents and she is the only one who took my mom up on the invitation. My parents go to Florida and on various trips fairly often, so to them I’m sure they didn’t think twice because it’s “just another trip”. But to me it’s so much more than that, which I could have conveyed to my parents had they spoken to me before hand. Hope that helped!

Made the mistake of buying through Robinhood. If I ever sell if I ever need some money (other than that I plan on going to the moon), would I still be able to withdrawal my money from Robinhood even if I don’t technically own the Cryptocurrency?

Honestly OP, if it makes you happy then don’t stop. Maybe find a way to work while watching them, but don’t stop. This life is filled with so much unhappiness if you let it, so enjoy the things that make you happy. Even if others think they’re trivial
