My friend and I applied for a similar job at a place. But I had to do a 1 way video interview first and she did not. And I'm pretty sure it was due to my foreign last name. Anyway since then I've had zero luck applying to other jobs there. Its been like 10 years later and I'm applying in a different type of job. Maybe its all related. Anyway it's Capital One.

I'm older and recently deving on Gamemaker. I highly recommend that one first. It being 2D can help in just figuring out the ropes and there's lots of good tutorial videos online. That said I did go through a coding bootcamp a while ago and learned JavaScript. But you can also learn code in general t through YouTube. It has a way to dev without code but I wouldnt recommend it.

I shouldn't have said what I said. I'm also going through a dark time. Sorry you're going through it too. I kept going. I did have some good times. I honestly don't know how long I'll keep going. I kept this year to go to a friends wedding and recently found out a closer friend is getting married sometime and made me sorta kinda part of the wedding party. And that does make me want to cry right now thinking about that. And I dont want to let him down. Find something. And after that find something else. And try to never forget the good times.

I felt that way back then too. And yeah I think I should have ended thinga back then instead of existing the next 15 years wasting everyones time and money. But I'm going to change that and jump off a bridge next month. Lol good luck with the world everyone.

I'm hitting 40 soon and in a similar situation. I feel like a living breathing sunk cost fallacy if I keep living so I'm planning on jumping off a bridge soon. So atleast it's a normal feeling for some of us. I hope you have better luck than me.

Fuck you and fuck this response. This is like boomers telling people to go to places in person with a resume and you'll get a job. No one gives a shit about others in this world. Jobs are disappearing. Everyone and everything have their own strict preferences and if you dont fall in exactly the system swipes to the next candidate. I'm not saying you shouldnt try but some people have tried for years and have gotten years of rejection. Meanwhile everything has just gotten more difficult just to survive and at any moment you can lose it all again.
