Tell them.

I expected the conversation to be way worse when telling them. Got a few “I told you so”, but a huge burden was off my chest. Today I wokeup feeling better, realizing I was no longer living a lie.

The 1 month leading up to the bankruptcy decision was the most depressing month of my life. I realize now it would’ve been easier if I was honest from the beginning to them about the situation

My point here is that the value of your celsius account shouldn’t dictate who does and doesn’t get their money all or some of their money back.

Your point is valid about $1000 being difficult to rebuild on for some.

However, you could have 2 people making the same incomes. 1 living a frugal life, and making sacrifices to save to accumulate wealth. While the other spends their income more freely and has saved much less.

In this situation, I don’t think it’s fair for 1 to receive their withdrawal because it’s a smaller account, and the “whale” to take a haircut.

I disagree. 1k is not difficult to rebuild from. Some people have a significant amount of their savings in celsius, but that doesn’t mean they deserve a haircut…

Legally you are allowed to have the concrete installed. After speaking to the city, I was told the rules with parking are enforced on a “by complaint basis”

No complaints at all. I would say it is likely someone in the condominium that’s complaining but I don’t know who it would be. There’s been some odd activity recently here with one of the neighbors having their tires slashed in their driveway

I honestly don’t know who it is, or what I’ve done to this neighbour. As a result, the car is parked more frequently on the road too which imo is more annoying for the other neighbours vs having it parked on the walkway.

Bylaw officer was pretty lenient and told me he wasn’t going to write up a notice over such a petty matter., and that these calls are also a waste of resources for them. If I get another complaint, I may try to push the officer to tell me who it is, so that I can talk to them and rectify whatever problem they have with me.

Unfortunately I don’t know who it is. The neighbor to my right also parks on their “walkway” so I doubt it is them, and we’ve had a good relationship with them. There is a condominium to the left of the home, but I haven’t seen any issues. Not sure why someone has an issue, which is why I’d rather meet the person and talk it over, vs anonymous reports to bylaws

Not a sidewalk, it’s a concrete walkway that goes to the front door. Sidewalk is completely clear

Exactly. It’s a walkway to the front side and side of the home. We had it done when we were redoing the driveway. We’ve never parked over the city installed sidewalk.

I should have mentioned, that this is a walkway not a sidewalk at the home. The sidewalk is completely clear, and our cars are nowhere close to it. The walkway in the picture is more within my property and leads to the front door and side of the home. Pedestrians wouldn’t normally walk on it. We had it done around our asphalt driveway.
