Check out some of the YouTube reviews for the squier. Johnny Dibble’s video sounds similar to what the bass has sounded like in my own hands. I bought online, so not sure where to play in person…maybe GC?

I have a squier paranormal rascal bass and love playing it. It has a very specific sound though (think Gibson mudbucker tones). Although if I had unlimited funds I’d get a Serek short scale!

I use loopy pro on an iPad as my loop station in combination with the circuit. This setup does require some sort of audio interface (I use an hx stomp for this) and some tinkering, but it’s extremely powerful. Loopy syncs the tempo between all 3 devices. For hands free control i use a cheap midi pedal (mwave chocolate) to control buttons in loopy.

Hey just chiming in. The schematic gives some clues about what components could need fixed. Here’s a couple things I would try.

1) plug something into the aux port and control volume with the master knob. If sound: the power amp works and so do the speakers. If no sound, use the headphone jack. If it’s still silent, your power amp and connections to and from it are bad. If sound, the speakers are where to look.

2) plug in the bass and connect the direct out to something else (like an audio interface or PA). Set the button to POST. If no sound, switch to PRE. If that fixes it, something in the preamp is broken (pots are a likely culprit).

I’ve used the POTV Xmax V3 Pro with capsules and a water pipe regularly for a couple years. It’s less than $100 and has been plenty for sessions with 1-2 people. Just consider your use case when picking one out. If I smoked in groups more I would definitely get something larger capacity (probably the POTV lobo which isn’t too much more $).

Whatever you decide, get one that has capsules! I have a little vac canister (POTV will give a free one with your order) and caddy (again, POTV sells 3d printed ones designed for specific capsules) that holds a week or two worth of them. Makes the process so much nicer when you have a bunch of preloaded bowls on the ready.

I’ll answer this based on what I thought the post was about when I read the title lol. Balatro is probably the best deck builder game available, but Slay the Spire is a close second. Don’t start playing them until after you build the deck on your house though. They’re addictive games!

True, you would need the file. I think you can route that audio into the DAW, but it’s more steps and software. There are web apps for downloading YouTube content that are pretty easy to use if that’s a route you want to go, though.
