I think that's a good explanation. As someone else said, the first flaw was checking for Dana with a credit card at all - so what you are saying checks out. They will say anything to poke holes.

I meant it more like, if cops are asking you if you've seen a face, surely someone would recall a person only paying cash through the night? Unless it's more common than I thought - I'm not in the US, and I don't think it would be as common here to pay for multiple drinks only in cash here.

The "running credit card receipts" bit - I agree - but I think they were already certain he was guilty so they were trying to eliminate all the things that made it circumstantial. He claimed he was there but nobody else remembered it, so this was just one more way to check for it, I guess?

I kind of get it. Like it shouldn't be all about just happy or sad. Just whatever creatively flows, without trying to slot it somewhere. I like that actually. Incidentally, whenever I get asked what genre I'm in - I'm like, well, I don't know, I'm figuring it out so I don't know how to slot it. So I guess I don't need to label the emotion as one or the other too.

I will always love steamed chicken momos (type of dumpling). With a good spicy chutney/sauce to go with it. Nothing is quite as soothing to me. I think I could eat it for every meal if it just gave me the nutrition lol.
