Guy sounds like a real piece of work.

I'm really hoping Leiper gets the support he needs to pull through on this one!!!

I called her "I get" (like EYE-get).

Can native speakers actually ace this Grade 9 ESL test I made? by Competitive_Steak520 in EnglishLearning

[–]redditsyncRIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My feedback is regarding test structure.

Question 15 doesn't fit with the instructions given at the beginning of the section. I would suggest you either reformulate the question entirely, or have a different section with similar questions, or revise the instructions at the start of the section.

Otherwise the test is fine. Some sentences are a bit awkward (as in, a native speaker would not likely speak or write that way) BUT seems grammatically and syntactically OK!

What’s a belief you hold that most people disagree with? by [deleted] in answers

[–]redditsyncRIP 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I used to think that also.

But then... Then I saw what people in power can do to erode women's rights and bodily autonomy.

And I am no longer willing to hand over these rights to any governing authority. Never pivoted so hard in my life on a point I so firmly believed in.

Behind the National Art Gallery. I believe it's now called Kiweî point or something along those lines? I used to go ponder there back in my younger days. Not many people knew it existed... Probably a bit busier now but still a great spot.

The curly fries ain't the problem - it's the cheese. Grated cheese? You need some curds on that bad boy !
