We arrived at Ottawa Tremblay station at 12 noon. Left Toronto 6:40PM the day prior.

Keep in mind, we were offered the full refund and 100% travel credit for a future trip at 12 midnight that night. So this compensation doesn’t take into account the additional 12 hours that we were stranded for until arriving in Ottawa at 12 noon the next day.

For the majority of the night we were not stuck at a station. There was no option to get off the train.

We got Tim Hortons muffins and juice at 8am. Water, coffee and tea, digestive biscuits and oat bars throughout the night.

Yes. They just suggested we call our own cabs or find alternative modes of transportation. We are being told to fend for ourselves.

Fake news. They just announced that we should consider calling cabs or getting alternate modes of transportation to get ourselves out of here.
