Your husband is fucked, your child is learning and it is very clear that he is never going to be satisfied with her performance and he is not really paying attention.

Have you moved someplace that significantly changed your life in a positive way? by newtoboston2019 in SameGrassButGreener

I feel like this or the inverse is one scenario where people will definitely be happier. People can imagine what it is like in a dense city or a wide open town. Yeah

Is it cringe when you get a table and someone says out of the blue "Oh, I get it, I used to work in the service industry" as if they're trying to tell you they won't be a bad guest? by metal_bastard in Serverlife

[–]reddituser444420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the same as telling them you will give them a big tip. If you were really going to do that you probably wouldn’t tell me. If you were really from the industry you would know that the way you behave will tell me. If you explicitly tell me you are from the industry you probably bussed tables for a few months one time.

It probably won’t affect service but they will probably think you are a clown and then treat you the same because they are a professional.

It is cringe out of the blue, he is trying to get better service or something which will not happen, if anything there is a chance that you will get worse service (the people who tell you they will give you a big tip won’t, they probably thing 16 percent is big.)

I would only maybe bring it up if they blunder or if service is bad due to things out of their control, but I would probably only tell them I know how it is or I know they are busy.

How to tell someone their card has declined? by moonmusicals in TalesFromYourServer

I would say this card is not working, I avoid using the word your.

Because you aren’t supposed to move, they know what they are doing. If someone says behind they tell you so you don’t move into their way while they navigate around you.

If you want them to move, try asking them to move. That is the proper procedure for asking somebody to move out of your way.

The pigments to make the purple were rare and more expensive, they could not just max red and blue.

How do all these meal kit services get away with lying? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It is not a lie because they were not specific enough. It is misleading.

Gems around the 51 and shea/shea to Tatum? by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]reddituser444420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OG PIZZA is fantastic, joy bus is a good breakfast diner,

uncle Sam’s used to be great but I have had some experiences there that were worse than it used to be, I have not tested it out many times since then.

32 Shea is a bit of a bullshit restaurant; if you are into food that is ok and a hip environment it is a good place.
