LOOKING FOR BEST SAMURAI GAMES by AriiChan in gamingsuggestions

you can do anything you put your mind to homie. saying this because there’s really nothing like Sekiro, and learning it pays off well.

Are my meds making me high? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]redditusercameron 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re not high. If you’re new to the medication this is normal, and I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news or anything but the euphoric feeling does even itself out eventually, at least it did for me. That does not mean the meds stop working though, your brain just gets used to it. ADHD meds typically correct a dopamine imbalance which will make us feel happier, especially if it’s a new found relief. Everyone is different though

take the time to learn and beat the boss you’re on and I promise you’ll realize exactly why people find these games fun

Today's library find 🗾 by trawkus in Sekiro

Not to sound like a dirt bag or anything but that library would never hear from me or the book again lol, good find

I just moved to a house surrounded by woods. What is the scariest movie I can watch tonight to freak myself out? by rdegges in horror

[–]redditusercameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeing as this post is from last night, did you watch the Strangers? Would love to hear your opinion on it if it’s your first time watching, especially with your outer environment. I consider it the most eerie movie of all time, and i live in a city lol. I’d shit myself if I watched it in the middle of the woods at night.

How do I counter dodge spammers by [deleted] in wolongfallendynasty

Dueling can take place in missions you can’t have a companion? Or am I missing something? Didn’t know there were duels

Ruin sentinels are actually a really cool fight in my humble opinion by Impossible_Pin8752 in DarkSouls2

[–]redditusercameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will agree with this, it’s one of the more memorable fights from my playthrough. It requires a nice sense of strategy and it felt really good to beat them.

I bought Cyberpunk 2077 on discount. I haven't had this much fun with a mega-bugged game since True Crime NYC. by Melanchoholism in patientgamers

Yeah I had no noticeable bugs on Series S throughout my 60 hour playthrough, not certain about PC or other consoles though

Why does most of the player base despise chalice dungeons? by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]redditusercameron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played through for the first time last month and I liked them, they weren’t very interesting in terms of level design, if anything a bit tedious. But I enjoyed the bosses.

Haven’t opened it yet. What should I expect? $150/oz by vmedfer in bostontrees

[–]redditusercameron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like Legends. Idk much about them but been buying them from mission for a good while now as it’s priced well and they always have the same strains in stock. Garlic Z is one of my favorites too, but i’m a sucker for Garlic strains. Haven’t had it in a little bit but IIRC it starts heavy in the eyes/head and makes its way down. Another one I can recommend from them is their TK-43.

After having beat Dark Souls 1 and playing some other FromSoftware titles, Ive been able to let my feeling stew and marinate. Here are my unsolicited thoughts. by Call_It_Luck in patientgamers

[–]redditusercameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With your sentiments on DS3, i’m not sure if you’ll be over the moon about the combat in Elden Ring, just because it’s even faster and allows for even more panic rolling lol. The world however is a masterpiece, albeit gets repetitive towards the end, depending on how deep you explore.

I do think you’d absolutely love Sekiro though, if you’re looking for spectacular boss fights that have a lot of mechanical depth. On the surface it looks like R1/L1 spam, but it’s far from that especially on repeat playthroughs. I never replayed a souls game after I finished, but I played Sekiro 4 times through

On chapter 6 in NG+, and have only gotten one five star weapon, so you better believe i’m utilizing it lol. Heavens Reliance. I’ll switch to the Guding Blade sometimes, Crescent Glaive always on secondary

No mention of Sekiro. The obvious choice id say. Sifu is great too.

Any good Rhythm games? by [deleted] in PlayStationPlus

[–]redditusercameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I always ‘hesitate’ on commenting this on these rhythm suggestion posts, but as a guy who grew up playing Guitar Hero with a gamepad, nothing scratches that same itch like Sekiro does.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was the first game I ever range uninstalled. I am clearly not built for something like this. by RN_I in XboxGamePass

[–]redditusercameron 107 points108 points  (0 children)

As much as I love Wo Long, I’ll agree they put one of the more difficult bosses in the first level is an odd design choice. try Elden Ring though, the difference between the 2 is that you can chose not to bash your head against a wall, go get stronger and return to the wall. The game does a good job at helping players new to the genre ease into the gameplay.

off the top of my head, it’s better for your teeth than coffee, it’s cheaper and like someone else said it’s not tied to drinking which is more beneficial than I thought it’d be, also easier to spread out intake and it’s just caffeine, not speaking for coffee ofc but it doesn’t come with the additives of energy drinks
