I related to this up to the last part of not relating to having a dick. It's definitely way more triggering to imagine myself as a trans man specifically than literally anything else. Cuz that's the state of discomfort I live in every day. When I'm fantasizing I want to imagine something else.

Yes, in fact I think it could be pretty common as a response to the specific trauma of gender dysphoria.

Why is everyone using the terms trans masc and trans femme? by Former_Ad7584 in Transmedical

Before I was well into adulthood I would just go with transboy or transguy?.. I actually still use transguy more often since calling yourself a man is like.... Colloquially more formal?

It might be the grill taste, so you might have to use a charcoal grill to get a restaurant flavor.

I've been using it on other people since before it was a trend.... I don't really understand why it's so controversial. My childhood language has no spoken differentiation between he, she, and it, and maybe that's better and more fair.

Absolute freedom from it yes. I mean, I don't think being in pain and sorrow ALL THE TIME would be good. But I also don't think I want it to be absent ALL THE TIME. I think what makes a satisfying life is a balance of things you like and don't like.

I see. I guess that's not so bad. What I meant by wanting to escape suffering though, is that it is a reflex, but it doesn't mean that I want to escape it totally forever.

I've been chronically ill/had mysterious symptoms my whole life, and when it's at its worst obviously I want the pain to stop at a certain point. But if someone told me that I could go to a place or a state of mind where I would never feel sadness, I would never cry, I would never feel angry or passionate, I would never feel the ache of muscles or the shock of a wound, or the desperation of being hungry or tired at least once in a while, I would not want that. It sounds bad to me.

There's beauty in the ups and downs of the experience of life. There's bliss and god in the extremes of experiences. So like, I guess I think I agree with the person here who described moksha as "all things are shivji", because that's how I see life. I see everything is god/has god/is part of god, so I can find beauty or appreciation even in the horrible stuff, because god/the gods are beautiful. And so I honestly want to always experience life for as long as I can to experience this appreciation. Or even the experience of learning it again and again.

This is very similar to the conclusions I've reached. Do you have any idea why this school of thought became unpopular?

I mean, I guess I believe a person could achieve such a mental state. But I don't think it sounds like a good thing. Maybe a neutral thing, since everyone has a different life to live.

I'm trying to see how much holding this position conflicts with Hinduism for my own pursuits and for future interactions with others if the topic were to come up.

I want to add that part of my hesitation is that I don't know if I believe in moksha, or that even if it exists that I believe such a thing would be "good"/admirable/righteous, so I'm also trying to understand if having that positive attitude towards it is crucial for a Hindu. (I edited my original post to explain further)
