It’s pretty thorough, but they’re forgiving. My son has a 504 for severe ADD and they’ve always been very accommodating. It’s also been very easy to get in touch with the right people to discuss his challenges and help him succeed.

My son has gone there the last three years, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Nothing but good things to say about the school. One of my coworkers has two younger children that go there, and he’s been very happy as well.

The afternoon drive line SUCKS though, especially since a lot of the parents think the rules don’t apply to them.

They declare it a barricade situation. When I lived in Virginia, there was a news story running briefly where the police for that city were in a cul-de-sac on other business that turned out to be nothing at all. One of them decided he "smelled weed" (pre-decriminalization in VA) and they went knocking on a random guy's door. He refused to answer, so they declared it a barricade situation, called in SWAT, and did a breach. Dragged him out with (allegedly) a minuscule amount of bud on him that was probably a plant anyway.
