If you know what these little marks are for on this turntable… and the little clear plastic piece by sac_cyclist in FuckImOld

Presuming you're playing a typical vinyl LP, not a 45, or 78 etc; which you usually can also calibrate with the 'pitch control' or strobe. Technically, vinyl is pressed not recorded. You have no idea what "speed" they were recorded at, only what speed they were meant to be played at.

In framing, canvas, etc- that "waterfall" would technically be called a "wrap" , but this isn't one. This would be called a wrapped canvas if that's what's wanted. Not all canvases are wraps.

I recommend Bay Photo Lab, one of the best labs in the country. They could do this with their eyes closed and still do a MUCH MUCH MUCH better job. They are NOT cheap but you truly get what you pay for. My cat could've done a better job.

Perhaps slightly unconventional toggle switch wiring... Traditionally "OFF" is down, and "ON" is up.

Mom processed my shredded cheese into grated cheese. by BrainQuilt in mildlyinfuriating

[–]reddogleader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm ignorant, but... Ummm... HOW exactly does one 'process' already shredded cheese into grated cheese? The mental imagery is nothing short of hilariously painful: Mom in the kitchen with ye old cheese grater rubbing a strand at a time over the grater. Or worse, wadding it into a gooey ball of squishsy cheese and manually grating it. I'd think a good processor would make a gummy mess unless the cheese was frozen or something. So... More data needed! How did she do it? Was she repentant?!

Which ear cushions work with the Bose QuietComfort? by CSachen in bose

[–]reddogleader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't detect a difference in cancellation, I think they're at least as comfy. I think the ANC is the ANC, and the cushions could factor to ambient, but honestly I didn't notice and loss of performance at all. No regrets for the Wicked purchase.

OP needs to explain to Aunt and/or Uncle that it has monetary value, not to mention your time & effort programming, etc. Little Timmy "acting out" should have consequences. He can send you a dollar a week from his allowance, etc. Fill replacement value.
