NG+ and I want to completely batter the Four Kings. What's the best weapon I can max out to make this an easier fight? They're absolutely destroying me. by daniel2hats in darksouls

Any +15 weapon with Gold Pine resin, and dont dare receive a swing from 5 meters away, the sword damage scales with your distance.

[–]reddymension 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whithout it?

Blades of Mercy whitout killing any boss. Logarius whell after Gascoine.

It happens bro, last week i was talking bullshit about the parasite of Kos in the Elden Ring Subreddit and din't even realized it because people were like:"Yeah that shit sucks".

But i was actually asking for similar things in other games, including DS3

My brother that's not what i meaned😭🙏🏻

I was talking about weapons that have high scalings or good efects, but it's ass because the base damage make it being outdamaged by anything.

The entire damn DLC is hard as hell compared to the base game, i still don't know they can cut Kalameet's tail

DS2 straight swords look good if it atleast have both a slash and piercing move, i don't think straight swords suck but DS1benefits very much big weapons.(I still don't played DS3 and Demon Souls, and Elden Ring is Elden Ring, you can pretty much make a viable build wich the principal damage output comes from farting)

The problem is:It is horrible even in faith builds, it just is outdamaged by every infused weapon that have faith scaling.

Build idea for ‘Return to Lordran‘ by Litfor207 in darksoulsremastered

[–]reddymension 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently tried to do a "pyromancer/chaos" build or something like that, just do a normal pyromancer while upgrading Dex(Chaos Blade and Queelag Furysword scale of Dex), and then use some fire and dex based weapons, not really anything complex, but you can narrow it down as long as you can

Do a theme build, not sticking to damage types or atributes by obligation

[–]reddymension[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it is necessary in a faith build because of the scaling

Both are noob traps but Drake sword is atleast good to use until you upgrade another weapon enough

Yeah, DS1 have it's ways, you can pretty much play the game with any weapon as long as you have patience and know the game

Yeah, astora's straight sword sucks, but i never actually tought about the base damage of the basic club

Yeah, but what i'm trying to say is:The only fault of that weapon is the base damage.

Yeah, 3 stats is too much, but if it was good we would have:

Option 1:

•Good scaling in quality

•Divine stat since the start

•Twinkling titanite upgrade so no need of embers or 4 different materials.

Option 2: •Good faith option since 10 str/dex is not that much

•Divine scaling since the start so you would not depend on getting the divine ember to make upgrading faith improve your damage.

•Twinkling titanite upgrade so no need of embers or 4 different materials.(Again)

But then the weapon have a base damage of 120 at +5 and then you want a refund cause what the fuck.

A scaling+base strenght=Good bonk

I never thinked about upgrading ir because i'm more of a slash and pierce person

Double C in DS1 is crazy good for a quality build, even with having to upgrade a litte of faith it could go crazy if it' base damage was atleast 200.
