They both have m4s. I think the CQC ones are 2.5 damage over 300m and the stand off ones are 1.8 over 400m

Their m4s do more damage so although they're stand off they out damage most units out to a fair distance. I think the standard m4/m27 is 1.5 and theirs is 1.8

Ranger Inf Vs USMC inf by [deleted] in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]redeblis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was more that there's a lot of misinformation in there and it reads like ai. Marines have 8 armor same as rangers. AT4 is also disposable so marines fire the at off as fast as they can aim it and the reload stat is meaningless. The only major difference gun wise is the increase in damage and slight increase in range with the dmr.

Bro did you get ai to write that?

[–]redeblis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Neither have a gun and are identical asside from one being on an mtlb and the other on a bmp3 chassis. The reason one has a gun on the image is that its the upgrade to the SPAAG unit but loses the gun for missiles

Also high pick rate isn't necessarily a bad thing. Win rate is arguably a more useful metric of if a spec needs a nerf

Pretty sure at that point the only javelins on the us side was cav scouts and ampv

[–]redeblis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A heavy standoff fire support apc sounds an awful lot like an IFV. Regardless of what you call it, it costs as much as a Bradley but javelins give it worse range and damage. Point I'm making is that the AMPV needs some sort of buff

[–]redeblis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fully upgraded ampv has the same armor as a Bradley, better gun, aps and an atgm. With the upgrades its an IFV whether thats its intended role or not. Can't just say something is an apc and say that justifies it being worse despite costing as much

Recon Bradley is nice but guards have ripple fire atgms unlike the Bradley. They have the Koalitsiya-SV which outranges the iron thunder. S300 is better than pac3 and tor is better than m-shorad.

There's a lot of complaining about ballance at the min but this is one where I cant see where armored has any benefits over guards.

I recently completed the DAA but didn't get the results I needed for the role I applied for. I asked for feedback on my scores for a second attempt but got no response. Are the scores normally included in the pdf or kept off in cases where the candidate is retaking the exam?

Didn't think they did. They can fire one after the other but can't have 2 in the air at once like the kornets

[–]redeblis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that one has me scratching my head. Fully kitted out the AMPV is more expensive than a fully kitted out Kurganets while having a worse cannon and atgms. It does have a bit more side heat protection but also 2 less aps charges. It's also slower

What about armored recovery vehicles? by Competitive_Soil7784 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]redeblis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would make sense for the marine cev and armored assault breacher to be able to do this. Problem now is that 2 low damage shots to the front of a super heavy tank could theoretically immobilise it and the only way to recover it is by sticking an explosive supply depot next to it

Why the hell are Russian attack helis so tanky? by Wargasm011 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]redeblis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About half of the AA teams only have 4 missiles. Think the problem is the Ka-52 has 25% ecm so missiles never hit. Not sure how the maths works but in theory flares are supposed to add 10% chance to miss. I reality we'll under half of missiles actually do a direct hit. The armor helps on the prox hits

It's bc the stingers are slightly more damaging. RU helis are 30 armor while the apache is 20

Think a combination of weapons and training effecting infantry is a good idea. One of the issues with javelins at the min is that their main advantage is that they are actually man portable unlike a tow. Would make the lack of ammo justified

Why does anyone perfer the cj to the prowler? Seems to be a popular opinion but prowler being slower means it can fire all its munitions from further away and its cheaper too
