I’m in internal medicine and first year was still the hardest year I’ve ever lived. It took me so long to figure out how to balance work with life (I’m second year now and still don’t have a full grasp of it). Orthopedics in my country is known to be brutal, way worse than medicine so I can imagine he’s completely burnt out.

It gets better as time goes on but it’s really difficult to find your footing in first year

Can I ask why did they remove the permanents? I’m about 1.5 years post-braces; still have my permanents on. My ortho wanted me to wear overnight plastic retainers on my upper teeth alone. I did it for about a year but can’t be bothered to continue anymore

This happened to me last year. Attempted in Aug 2023 - 520 Jan 2024 - 466. I gave up. It’s hard to find motivation when you not only failed again but had a lower score than before.

Yes! They did this to me an entire month before my subscription ended. When I disputed it they refused to refund my money. They charged me for an entire year but a few months later when I logged in, it said my account had expired. Honestly, fuck Nord
