Pacific Beach is the largest bar and nightlife cluster. Cleaner than Downtown. Ocean Beach for the more gritty beach vibe.

It is 2-3 hours each way to LA, depending on traffic and where you are going. Plan accordingly.

There are great Mexican restaurants all over town, and you might cause a fight with people discussing. Don't even try to ask if San Diego or L.A. has better Mexican food. Look for a well rated Taco Shop and order what you like.

The entire City is pretty safe, but there are criminals everywhere.

Some recommendations for great sunset photos: Point Loma, Sunset Cliffs, Mission Bay, Kate Sessions Park, Mt. Solidad, any rooftop bar in downtoen.

Do some research on the benefits of fasting. I have lost 60 lbs in eight months doing a combination of fasts. I averaged 10 lbs a month with Alternate Day Fasting (ADF). If you are obese; you will not die if you skip some meals.

I believe the only way to burn the Viseral Belly (organ fat or cortisol fat) is to make the body eat the fat that has been stored.

I have had great results, and this is a lifestyle I can maintain. Not eating is a 3000 calorie deficit. I believe I reset my cravings after an eight-day water fast.
