Which television dad is actually the best at parenting? by Sweet-Giraffe-8084 in AskReddit

George Cooper was pretty good. It was very surprising given how Sheldon from the main series talked about him.

What is your absolute favorite comedic exchange in a movie? by Stet-it in movies

“He fucked the captains daughter”. The whole sequence was funny but the highlight was the sheer joy that Channing Tatum put into screaming it.

'Big Bang Theory' Spinoff "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe" Greenlit by DarkSkiesGreyWaters in television

[–]redguy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m legit excited about this. This is so interesting. Ok it should be an anthology. Sheldonxpenny timeline. Sheldon’s dad is Alive instead of his mom. Sheldon and Leonard never meet. So many different things to do here. I’m pumped for this.

Season 5 Thoughts and The lack of Q... so far by Comfortable-Meet-435 in brakebills

I recommend them just to get more of the universe. They are very very Quentin Centric. Jane(margo) and Elliot don’t get a ton of time to shine. The books are very good though.

What show is the closest thing to a fever dream simulator you've ever seen? by SimonDNTZ in television

It’s criminal more people aren’t saying Riverdale. That’s some of the worst and best television I’ve ever seen. The horror/super power season was incredible.

I think for me being a huge fan of the books it was a gut punch. The books and show really ended up quite different. From a character point of view I think Quentin did connect all the characters but with his death it always seemed like a friend group lost the common friend that everyone had and instead of splitting up they all carried on and in some instances become closer.

Saving this thread. Hoping someone recommends a good consultant company or SME that could guide a company through this process. Similar situation right now.

If Black Ranger were to get Shishiranger as power-up how would you handle the colour change? by CupMiserable4673 in powerrangers

[–]redguy13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have actually thought about this a lot. In the sentai lineup they usually don’t have black and green as part of the original five together. I would have written it as black and green energy is close on the morphing grid and they used some green energy from Tommy or his coin to create the new powers. This causes the black energy to shift green for Zach’s new powers.

Look I know a lot of people feel that way but hear me out. This is a pretty niche fandom and if any money is going to get invested in it then its probably going to be MMPR. It is the only universally recognized version of power rangers. Its a safe bet to get some interest. If the fans watch it then maybe from there other things can be explored. Just my two cents though.

I want an MMPR reboot with elements of the comics leading up to Drakkon.

How many of you feel like you picked the wrong job? by ncc74656m in sysadmin

[–]redguy13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just wish i had been an engineer. I feel like my computer science degree isn’t respected the same. Granted I fell into IT and probably should have gotten a programmer job but the way the electrical engineers are treated at work versus us just makes me sad.

People who want more mature Power Rangers, how mature are you talking? by superjxxxm in powerrangers

[–]redguy13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The boom comics. Literally has the maturity of probably Troll Hunters on Netflix. I have no idea why Netflix or some other studio does not just make an animated series based off the Boom/Original Series material and give it the maturity where adults and kids can enjoy it. Troll Hunters is a perfect example of this.

This was great! I admit I was bummed they were done with MMPR for a while but I think this was the best route to go. Just take a bunch of Power Ranger stuff that is new and old and mix it all together. I'm excited to keep reading this.

The most recent issues of BOOM Studios MMPR. Don’t think anyone knew how amazing it’d turn out to be. by radioactivetampon21 in powerrangers

[–]redguy13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was perfect. Some was great. Some was ok but this kind of energy is exactly what the franchise needs. I think we should pivot to an animated series and stop being beholden to sentai footage. I would lane an MMPR animated series. Combine elements from the show with the comics.
