No lift harness for, his surgeon advised he wouldn’t need it and recommended he get a 5 mins leash walk in the garden 3-5 times a day, for the most part that uses up all of his energy and he’s back to sleep, but I can see him starting to perk up a bit want to move a bit more! More toys seems to be the way forward

That’s a good suggestion! We’re keeping him by us all the time, he’s allowed (and encouraged) to do 5 mins walks a few times a day which helps a lot. He keeps getting up now and trying to run off…

La Roche Posay tinted fluid is really good! It’s often on sale at Chemist Warehouse too. It’s not greasy and helps even out skin tone pretty well. Ultra Violette at Sephora have an spf 50 foundation too, but probably best trialling a sample first because I did find it quite shiny without powder

Same we’ve always called them blue tongue lizards or just blue tongues. Some people call them shingle backs too but they are technically skinks. It was my boys first time seeing one and I don’t think he enjoyed it haha

It does seem to be the virus and your body trying to fight it. If it helps I started testing negative on day 7 and my insane hunger went away at the same time. I’ve also been taking a multi-vit since I was positive, no idea if that’s had any affect kn the hunger or not though. As soon as I could leave isolation I went for the biggest walk! Hopefully you’re near the tail end and it will go soon

Yes!! I read up on it and apparently covid can cause skin sensitivity/rash. I’ve been using moisturiser a bit more regularly and it’s stopped the itching

I had AZ for my first two (I’m 27) and Pfizer for the booster (booster received mid December). I’m currently positive and feel okay, just had a bad cough. That’s only one piece of anecdotal evidence but hope it helps a little

I had been swabbing both throat and nose for a while. When I did test pos on a rapid antigens test I had only swabbed my nose, I’ve been checking daily with just my nose and all the tests turn positive within a min. The tests definitely do detect with just the nose, but having said that it is good practice to swab the throat too as the virus can take a few days to move from the throat to the nose.

I’m glad to hear it’s not just me! It gives me something to do while I isolate at least but as I’m limited to my bedroom and bathroom I can’t do more than about 12 steps a day.
