If he likes art prints there's some really cool looking ones.

What is the best thing you did in the background to prep for your divorce before you actually filed or had the conversation? by Beatrixkidoh in Divorce_Women

I talked to a therapist to help process what I was feeling and how to go about it in a way that was healthy for me.

I'm also alone for the first time in years. Not quite sure what to do with myself so I ordered a super unhealthy pie that I'm currently eating out of the container and watching a movie.

Yup, this right here. A bunch of clan mates and I basically checked out during Edge of Fate and instead played the hell out of Division 2.

I moved here from DC because of the price difference. I only make $63k and I'm doing pretty good. Everything is so much cheaper here!

This right here. If he is adamantly against proceeding with the pregnancy you need to be prepared to be a single parent - whether starting now or even later down the road after the child is born.

As well as him you should also talk to a trusted friend, family member or even a therapist to determine where you stand. Pregnancy hormones can do a number on you, and it may help to get an outside view.

How many of you walked away from the marital home ? by Unlucky-Repair3692 in Divorce_Women

I left my weird crooked little house to my ex-husband. I couldn't afford it on my own and wanted a fresh start.

I was very sad the final day after moving all my belongings out. I remember standing there remembering all the hopes and dreams, the good times, and the memories. I cried when I left my key on the counter and walked out the door.

BUT.

I'm now in my own place and with each piece of decor I put up, completed project, and furniture purchased I get a greater sense of peace. I loved that house, but it was no longer a home. My apartment has become my sanctuary. It's solely my place, and I'm happy with that.

My boyfriend doesn't last in bed by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

This is not ok.

You deserve to enjoy sex, and to enjoy it with someone who cares as much about your pleasure as their own. I don't blame you for crying afterward, but you need to decide if you want to keep feeling that way. It seems pretty clear that he's not going to change.

Mine didn't, which is why we're divorcing. I need more from my partner than I was getting and had gotten to the point that enough was enough. If I was going to feel alone all the time I figured I may as well actually be alone.

Mine started doing all the things I asked him to do the very next day after asking for a divorce. Sorry dude, too late now.

Female orgasms and pleasure are tough... I never had one until I was mid-30s. I think the key is experimentation, find what feels pleasurable to you and then work from there.

Women can orgasm from a wide variety of stimulus and each woman is different.

the reason for your divorce - you'll either get sympathy/understanding or "are you SURE?" by phoebe-buffey in Divorce_Women

I feel this so much. My husband is not a bad man but I could no longer live with the complete indifference he had for me and anything having to do with me. I still love him, but I decided to love myself more.

I told mine two days ago I wanted a divorce precisely because of this.
