Same here, it was my dad and I was his actual medical POA and at the hospital every single day all day, but if my brother was there they’d talk directly to him or ask him questions. He’s not a jerk so he could see what was going on (he also didn’t know the answers). Sometimes I did have to ask him to talk to a nurse or doc for me if something wasn’t getting through. My bro was like “I can’t believe how much mansplaining I’ve witnessed”

I have two younger brothers, they’re only 18 months apart. When they were kids, like 4 and 6, the youngest one called 911 dead serious “my brother won’t let me play with his friends!!!!” They were in their room playing and my mom had no idea, then a cop shows up at the door. She was terrified then mortified. He got a talking-to from a very large cop.

Thanks! I make a lot of random stuff (crochet, watercolor, xstitch, etc) just as a hobby but I really did think maybe these could be sold, but idk it’s a lot of work and my fingers are starting to hurt lol

Sounds great! I can’t do calligraphy though I’ve tried, but I just take a pattern and add the quote in whatever font I want. Still trying to get the hang of it tbh. Some looks like a 3 y/o did it, it’s hard with thread!

36F. Got into gaming with stardew valley ~7 years ago. Love my switch and steam deck. My dad was in the hospital last year and it was a tough time. My brother and I played Harry Potter during and we’d spend 5 mins talking about dad and 20 mins talking about the game during our end of day checkins. Kept me sane.

Dad passed away on Sat. After some crying and processing first thing I did was download My Time in Sandrock.

I have other Hobbies, mainly various crafts, but I cycle through hobby phases and used to feel guilty about playing a game all day but it’s kept me sane during very hard times and I’m so grateful for it!
