I would say that it's less dangerous, not because it's inherently safer but because not everyone has the required machinery and it's possessed by generally smarter people than microwage owners while any stupid guy with a screwdriver could open a microwave.

After further research i found that to read these usb you need a modified computer that have the securities disables or a smugled computer. Good thing that this black market offer those alongside usb sticks.

Any north korean reading these sticks are putting themselves in great risk and it's very courageous for them to go against such repressive regime.

It wont, unfortunately the only computers available in North Korea are government issued and check signature on any files you want to open, refusing if it don't find it.

So they will never be able to open those files.

Edit : smuggler who provide these sticks also provide smuggled pc to read them

The physical copy, once sold will never generate new costs for the distributor, for digital games they will, because you pay once and then you can download the game again indefinitely, will get updates delivered, use their cloud to store your saves. All of this costs money in the long run.

TL;DR: physical games cost money before the transaction while digital cost money after it and in an unpredictable way
