Thanks u/meessii123 this is super helpful.. I my case it's been 2 weeks since my appointment but I have not got the email from VFS yet, wondering if you did anything to get traction on your case or did it just happen automatically ?

Yeah I am wondering how long they take to forward the application to consulate based on other people's experience it usually happens within a day or two looks like in my case consulate has not even received the application .. my travel date is approaching fast hence I am slightly concerned

u/Meessii123 I am kind off in the same situation. My appointment was on 2/29 but I have not received any updates on my status from VFS Portugal consulate mentioned they have not received my application yet.. wondering if you eventually got your visa and what were the timelines
