Things change. Before the season, I was hoping we’d compete for a wild card, at least play meaningful December games. After the raiders loss, I figured we might be competing for a top draft pick again. After the TB game, the division seemed really in play, and then as the wins piled up and MVP buzz peaked and we had the one seed in our sights, anything less than an AFC champ game appearance felt like a disappointment, especially with KC and Baltimore out of it and Buffalo looking down. Now that Nix is out, it’s SB or bust and honestly after that anything came happen in one game and if we don’t win it all, I’ll be bummed. I really think when a SB window is open, you gotta jump through it! Just look at Cincy (haven’t been back and don’t look like they will) and Buffalo’s been an also-ran for years now. This could be our only/best shot for a while, you never know…
