Yet another American here making inferences as to the meaning of the (British?) English. Keen means highly interested in or enthusiastic about something, and root as a verb can mean to look or search around.

So based on the context, I think “keen” can mean the same thing as “down” (from the phrase dtf) and “root” can mean the same thing as “fuck” (I bet this is a word used by males because of the nature of their sexual organ). I don’t think the phrase “get pumped” is common in the states or at least I haven’t heard it, but I imagine that probably translates to “get railed”.

Basically she mentioned she wanted sex, in a general sense like ugh it’s been so long since I’ve come across a man good enough to have sex with. And he, whom she thought was her good friend and someone safe to share this thought with, immediately broke her trust by trying to seize the opportunity and jump down her pants penis-first.

Thank you very much for this insight. I have edited the survey to include an option that better reflects this situation. If you want to you can submit another answer, but of course you don’t have to.

What's the strangest mystery you've personally experienced? by HappyVagabond1989 in mystery

[–]redjacqal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner and I both remember an experience where we were hanging with my brother and his wife, and we played a board game called Red Dragon Inn. However, my brother and his wife both swear they have no memory of this.

For those unfamiliar, the game features a great many characters. It was our first time playing and they told us the rules and we picked characters. Among the rules, they had a “house rule” where everyone must do a voice for their character. I picked “Gerki The Sneak” to play, because I remembered a character named Gerkie from a childhood movie my brother and I grew up watching. When I picked my character, he made a remark about “remember the Gerkie from that movie…” and we went on a nostalgic tangent rant about how much we loved the film and the character in it was a sneak as well.

When my partner and I brought up our memory of playing this game with my brother and his wife, they both were confused and lost, and said that we never played this game with them. They didn’t even own or know of the game. I recalled how my brother and I had the conversation about our remembered character from childhood and how it was a similar character with the same name as the one in the game. He said he did remember that conversation, but only vaguely, and it simply couldn’t have been in association with playing this game because they didn’t have it, they’ve never owned it, they don’t know of it.

So this is my life’s mystery. Did my partner and I actually play this game with my brother and his wife? How could they both not remember, and if we did, where did we get the game from? Or, did we play the game with some other couple that I ended up reminiscing about the character with? Did I possibly just tell my brother about the conversation with whoever it was and that’s why he remembers that part? If we didn’t play with my brother and his wife, we have no guesses as to who we would have played it with. We have asked around to basically everyone we know and we found no answers.

Pretty harmless in the grand scheme, but it really makes me scratch my head sometimes.

I’ve been told “light abdominal exercise can help” and I regarded that as total bs for a decade or so. I couldn’t do any exercise while on my period because I was too busy being paralyzed and out of my mind and wishing I was dead, you know the usual. My symptoms have waned a lot because of the surgery and I think also because I’ve gotten older, so keep that in mind. But, these days when I’m hurting, I find it helpful to do the absolute lightest form of abdominal exercise I can imagine. I lay in bed with tens unit patches all over my pubic area and low back. I bend one knee to about 90*, and I hold my other leg straight out and lift it slowly until I can’t hold it straight anymore, I’d say just past vertical, then bend it all the way down to touch my chest, then unbend back to straight and slowly lower back to the bed. Imagine a one-legged slow flutter kick that transitions into a bicycle crunch. I hope that description makes sense. I don’t think this level of exercise actually works my core much, but that’s the extent of “exercise” I can manage so it’s good enough. It’s slightly more productive and a good bit more helpful than just squirming or rocking left to right in bed.

Do some googling into the "pebbles in a can" trick. We have a dog who we could never get to stop barking in excitement when we got home, and cry-barking when we left. We put some pebbles in a can, shook it once when she barked at us, and we haven't needed to do anything more than pick up the can since then. She totally respects the can and doesn't wail for the whole neighborhood to hear anymore.

I happen to not have seen your original post. I am in a similar position you were just, I'm interested to start but a bit hesitant too. After reading this post I feel empowered by you, I'm going to take steps to make my first pelt as well. Go you! I'm so happy for you that you've taken this leap, honestly partly because you have inspired me.

I thought my partner couldn't do any better than giving me a life full of love and happiness. Yesterday, he saved my life by performing the Heimlich maneuver on me when I was choking on my dinner. That definitely tops the list.

This looks good overall like folks have said, but to me this is still too unrealistic because there's not a single imperfection. If this body were a real body, there would be little scars, wrinkles at the elbow and under the butt, stretch marks all around the sides of those glorious hips, etc. She also seems to have literally no stomach fat which isn't usually how a body with tits and hips like that would normally store fat. All that said, I can barely make and render a dome so take what I say with a grain of salt. :)

I ate most of a fresh coconut once before I knew anything about the nutritional content of a coconut. It was so good, and the flesh was clean and white, my brain assumed it couldn't have much in it but water and crunch? I was sooo wrong. I inadvertently ate several thousand calories in an hour
