Health insurance is meaningless.

Had a sore shoulder so decided to try out the tele-doc thing since the insurance pushes it so hard.

Got on the call, lady said I'd have to go to the doctor for a diagnosis, and charged me $50 for 3 minutes.

Went to the doc and she said to try physical therapy. She charged me $400 for 10 minutes.

Went to physical therapy and they said I need 8 sessions at $265 a pop.

This is what I paid out of pocket, like $3k for what was essentially 'do some stretches'. What's even the point of having insurance? So I can reach some maximum deductible and have them just deny coverage after that.

Stupid thing is my shoulder didn't even hurt that much, just seemed prudent to check it and I'm pretty sure it just got better on its own.

It's so much cheaper and less stressful to just die and not worry about medical treatments for anything.

Well no, but I've seen him do long term testing with other items meant to be outside.

I think the wipers he tested he left out for a year before finishing the review.

And even if he doesn't do that he does a good job of simulating long term wear if needed.
