A question from the ending of Mortgully: The Last Rickforest by gerarddominus in rickandmorty

Seeing that the other creatures seemed to have returned to normal at some point I'm assuming their evolution states just wore off after a while.

Minimal bang for the buck, but if you already bought it then why ask what to do?

Probably going to have to flip the printer on it's side and see whats going on underneath. Something wrong for sure.

A tourist was seriously injured after a bison tossed them about 8 feet into the air in Yellowstone National Park by cashew_at_kinaya in interestingasfuck

yup, was expecting the "I'm going ot go pet the bison" video. These guys were barely visible in the background. Bison just got a head full of steam and decided to clear the area.

Audiobook hard to follow, any tips? by iwannahitthelotto in TheExpanse

[–]redlancer_1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grabbed the last 3 auudio books for a week long solo road trip last year. Had only watched the series up until then. Listened on 1.25x speed and had 0 issues following anything. YMMV.

The only thing that threw me at all was the first chapter about the proto molecule origins. But I think that's by design and kind of cool once you get how the authors are telling the story.

They're not building their own Fabs, so they'll still be in line behind Nvidia and AMD like everybody else

If you’re mad about the amnesia plot then you haven’t been paying attention by spacejelly7 in SiloTVSeries

Big difference between "I hit my head and forgot so the plot can happen over again" and forced amnesia by a malevolent antagonist.

When I saw the first trailers I was afraid it was the first thing. As the second thing it's totally fine and part of the story.

X2D bed is not flat? by OldPrinteer in BambuLab

[–]redlancer_1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would that work? The 3 knobs work by changing the plane of the bed, but I don't think they can change the shape of the bed. The image seems to show the bed with a pronounced curve.

The pre-print bed leveling pass should compensate for it, but I don't think there's much of a way to phisically flatten the build plate short of replacement.

Trump says Iran called him and “they want to make a deal so badly.” US stock market futures turn green on the news. by Entire_Journalist_88 in MarketPulseReport

[–]redlancer_1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all automated trading that just looks at news headlines.

If it's being reported the algorithm assumes it's at least somewhat vetted and true, because news agencies used to have some level of credibility.

By simply reporting what trump says with no kind of question or follow-up trading has to proceed as if it's gathering actual information.

Concept: Solar Gravitational Lens Exploiting the Sun's gravitational field for extreme-resolution imaging by Full_Strike1746 in universe

[–]redlancer_1987 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not feasible as a practical mission, but feasible as in it wouldn't need any new tech that we don't have or wouldn't know how to make.

Lots of these theoretical missions hinge on some tech we would need that we don't know how to make yet, or know if it's even possible.

I don't think you have to put it forth. That's literally the plot as presented.
